You need one of these and your car adapter Black USB Passthru Sealed for 901 w/ manual switch or White USB Passthru Sealed for 901 w/ manual switch (The link says 901 but they are for the KR-808 and will work with 901) The only other thing you need is KR-808 cartomizers

The same adapter fits the Protege and the new stainless steel USB Passthrough which is powered through a USB port, not to be confused with the USB Extension which turns the Protege into a USB passthrough. Did I just confuse you more?

The adapter is the part the atomizer screws onto. If you already have the Protege you have the adapter. If you don't have a Protege buy the full kit, it comes with an adapter. The extension makes it possible to plug the Protege into the computer.
