    Unregulated dual 26650 box mod

Try this schematic, basic box mod with LED and Meter, if you don't want both you can leave R1 and LED1 out. Hope this helps EDIT: Sorry this came out so small, had to convert from pdf to jpg and used an online converter. If you need, I'll see if I can make this better.

    Diy mod build

If you are going to be making your own mods learn to solder, it's not difficult. Much better to learn to solder than to have a wire come loose and short your battery to the metal Altoids tin, astronomically better.

    Why nicotine?

Nicotine is NOT a carcinogen, it is a stimulant along the lines of caffeine. Nicotine is the addictive substance/ingredient/element in tobacco, whether it is smoked, chewed or dipped.

Thanks Izan, I have lots of carto experience, draw with cartos is usually good for me, though you do run into to occasional one that is very tight.

Hey Cold, How's the draw? I had been looking at one of these but read reports of tight draws so I didn't pull the trigger. I like a fairly loose draw like on the ProTank 1, EVOD or most other clearos. BTW, saw the original lineup - Gene, Paul, Ace and Peter twice in the 70's (damn I'm getting...

Regular Atty Drippers (A Dying Breed?)

"I am also curious about what has drawn you guys/gals to these style atties? I only returned to the forums a few months ago and really had to search deep for this thread. Have you all tried rebuildables? Tried the cartotanks/BCC/etc?" from EbenezerScrews My philosophy, find something that...

Regular Atty Drippers (A Dying Breed?)

A note for anybody looking to pickup an 801 atty from IKV, the description IKV provides implies that a 510/901 drip tip will fit these attys, they don't. In the pictures provided the barrel of the atty tapers down so that it looks as though a 510 dt might fit but it doesn't. Fortunately, I had a...

Regular Atty Drippers (A Dying Breed?)

Hey folks, been vaping 2.5 years, vape only all VG or Max VG depending on juice vendor. Well versed with using cartos, prefer them without a tank, clearos of various size, make and description, and of course dripping an atty; I do have an inexpensive RDA, which I rarely use. My questions, just...

    Good tobacco juices?

I forgot to mention, Johnson Creek has very good juice, Tennessee Cured is a vaping standard and one of my favorites, though to me, not much of a tobacco taste. I buy lots of juice from Mt. Baker Vapor, but their tobacco juice is not really their best effort, something they have acknowledged...

    Good tobacco juices?

Legend, from Heather's Heavenly Vapes is the closest that I have personally found to replicate a real cig. Alien Visions E-Juice makes really good tobacco vapes as well, I am a fan of both Gorilla Juice and Boba's Bounty, and I really love Hype in their non-tobacco line. Most vapers come into...

    Soldering guidance

SOLDERING FUNDAMENTALS #1. A good solder joint will be smooth and shiny and will have a long live span and will not introduce any problems to the device/circuit. It will not be a “blob of solder,” but will have smooth flow characteristics that represent uniform heating of all attached...

    battery charging question

Sounds to me that it could be an indication that the battery is not making contact with the terminals on the charger. On my cheaper chargers the light is always green without a battery being connected, sometimes you have to twist/rock a battery to be sure it seats properly and makes contact...

    PG Sensitivty?

I am sensitive to PG,raw/itchy throat and ears, and bloody sinuses. I have no problems at all on AVE's "PG" juice, which is 10/90 PG to VG.

Users of cotton wicks - what's the preferred source?

Cotton cheesecloth from Target, it's only $2.49, and I never boil. You have to separate the individual threads, but cheesecloth is a very loose weave so that is not a problem. Enough cloth/threads in one package to rewick many, many, many coils.

    Wick questions

Wick life, and the need for coil cleaning, is also dependent on the juice you are using. Generally, dark thick juices will require much more frequent cleaning than clearer juices. Tennessee Cured, as an example, will completely gunk up a coil in just a few days and lead to either a subdued taste...

best coil ohm for the halo triton vv?

It's a question of what you like. At any given voltage, a higher ohm coil (atty/carto/clearo) will produce less current flow than a smaller ohm coil. Less current flow corresponds to less heat and by that less vapor, and also less juice consumed. Less current flow also means more vaping time...

    mad vapes box mod kit

They take 14500 Li-Ion batteries. These little box mods work great, I used the one I built for months, it was my first step up from a 510 battery. Good choice for a mod.

What CVS Cotton should I get that DOES NOT require boiling.

I've been using cheesecloth to rewick my coils, works great and is easy to do. The hardest part is getting the original wick out without damaging the coil. The link below explains the process...
