Hi TarFreeMe :) The one you tried is a 5V Wood Box Mod... the name is very original :) I love that thing, really packs a punch!

I use a box mod on occasions. Its nice and comfortable to use but rather tough to stick in a pocket a go... Strangely enough, tubes are a bit easier in my opinion.

I am looking forward to test driving that thing :) I am used to stacked batts in my buzz pro so that may not be an issue... I am curious about the voltage though. Will have to plug in the tester and see what it does.
