Has anyone used a metal protectant like Sharkhide to keep their brass tubes from tarnishing? They have it in an aerosol can and I was thinking of trying it.

You might want to check your springs if it matters to you whether or not they are brass. Nearly all of mine (~30) are not brass, they just look like it. An easy way to verify is with a magnet...if your spring is attracted to it, it is not brass. I don't know how COV will resolve this as I still...

Hopefully COV will clarify but the COV edition GGTS preorder description states that the battery cap and the connection cap are the only brass pieces. This description does not match the associated picture and would surely disappoint all who are wanting one like the picture...like myself.
