There is no problem with the Pin on the SBM. You will need to adjust the post on the Russian. I favored a deeper center post on the SBM. I had to adjust the pin on my Russian while I had it to make it work.

The Silver Bullet has been around a while :) I have seen a lot of unique ones come back to me for a tune up. Some have looked like they have gone through a wood chipper. LOL

Not too many of those were sold, I think we shot 70 of them and only around 40 were usable. That powder is a pain.

I switched to the Phosphorous Bronze in early 2010. The Stainless added a bit too much resistance.

They are 6061 T6 aluminum. You have to think that you carry it around all day, shove it in your pocket, drop it, knock it over and many other things. Tell me one thing that you carry around with you all day that can hold a perfect finish. My offer still stands for a full refund on the device.

Make sure to keep the top of the battery clean. You may even have to scrape it with knife to get the carbon build up off.
