What kanthal company should I buy in bulk from?

Lightning vapes works great for me.

Nautilus Mini BVC coil issues - I may see pattern to what's causing it....

I'd love to try this system but I'm rather put off by all of the complaints and apparent quality issues. Is it possible to rebuild these heads (like a Protank head)?

    What's so great about Provaris?

Ouch! Judging by these replies I've been lucky with my buttons. That being said, I do own a defective vamo v2 and eVic (software/chip issues).

    The ProVarinati Saloon, V3

Aw shucks HB I'm flattered!!!! Bahahahahaha [emoji12] [emoji13] The Provari v3 really does look like a big upgrade and I'm not gonna hate on it even for a second. I've criticized the 2.5 plenty and I do not hesitate to give my opinion on topics such as VW, power output, PWM, display...

I'd like a definitive answer once and for all: do amps matter?

My previous example assumes the same gauge wire in both coils. So let me try to express myself more clearly with this example: A person builds two coils from 30 gauge kanthal wire, one of the coils is 0.5 ohms (2 wraps), the other is 3 ohms (14 wraps). Both coils have a diameter of 2 mm. These...

    First attempt at rewicking

I should also add that I never use a "flavor wick", just the single wick through the coil. I've had success with this method using organic cotton and cellucotton. Good luck!

    First attempt at rewicking

Congrats on your first Kanger rebuild! I own several dedicated rebuildables and I honestly prefer the ease and consistency of rebuilding Kanger heads. I leave the silicon grommet off of the chimney most of the time and leaking isn't generally an issue for me unless I went too light on the wick...

I'd like a definitive answer once and for all: do amps matter?

Actually I would go as far as to say a .05 ohm coil and a 3 ohm coil set to the same power output will *always* produce a different vaping experience. Any big differences in surface area will consistently produce differences in the vaping experience.

    What's so great about Provaris?

Has anybody here had a button go out on any of their regulated devices yet? It's obviously bound to happen, luckily I haven't experienced this yet on any of my devices yet though.

I'd like a definitive answer once and for all: do amps matter?

Of course that's how resistance is determined, but what I am saying is that the same amount of power going through two different resistance coils could produce a different vaping experience. Strictly theoretical but imagine a .05 ohm coil set to 14 watts compared to a 3 ohm coil set to 14 watts...

    What's so great about Provaris?

I'm right there with you, I have several flavors in my rotation at any given time and I'm constantly making power adjustments for the different flavors, not to mention the different delivery systems.

    What's so great about Provaris?

Don't worry, Chris Pratt's facial expression alone successfully drove the point home!

    What's so great about Provaris?

Excellent questions. I really don't know. But I do know they still swap out batteries on the original DNAs for $25 so they seem pretty reasonable on repairs in general. But yes nobody is touching Provape on warranty, though I wish they were so I could stop conceding this point lol.

I'd like a definitive answer once and for all: do amps matter?

Think about it like this: If you are pushing 12 watts through a 1 ohm coil, you will have less surface area to disperse that 12 watts than if you had used a 2 ohm coil. Therefore, the 1 ohm coil will produce a noticeably different vape. Disclaimer: I might be wrong about this.

    What's so great about Provaris?

That's pretty sweet. Not sure what the rDNA buttons are rated for but I'd certainly hope at least the power button is up to this standard. Of course, the Provari only having one button means that thing is going to get clicked a lot more than the rDNA power button too [emoji6]
