SP2 First Impression Review (SteamPunk SparkPlug)

I see your point of view, but we'll just have to disagree. It has a slight friction fit, thats why you can move it up and down by pressing on it firmly, it will eventually loosen to the point it won't hold its setting anymore and when you go to tighten the atomizer it will press the center pin...

SP2 First Impression Review (SteamPunk SparkPlug)

Actually, the center post coming loose like that is not a good thing long run. It means it's not press fit in there tight enough and will effect electrical connection and will be more susceptible to juice leaking in there. It will also only get looser with time.

The most advanced e-cig in the world!!!

What Imeo is suggesting doing is what is called in the thread industry as an "interference thread". It cannot, I repeat, cannot be used in this application, interference threads are only allowable in applications that are not dis-assembled on a regular basis. They can only be used a few times...

The most advanced e-cig in the world!!!

The problem lies in the screw in tube, it is free floating, and even when you tighten it down, there is nothing holding it, it will constantly back off and lose it's electrical connection. The only way to remedy this is to tighten it down more, which the batteries won't take as the tops will...

The most advanced e-cig in the world!!!

I like your thinking outside the box, but Telescoping screw devices have been tried before in electrical applications and don't work as they never hold constant pressure on the battery, it will continually loose contact as it loosens on its own. That is why there are springs in all battery...

    cost and shipping

I received one too and it was in very poor shape, however, it wasn't from the shipping. It seemed packed well enough for me. It came in a Vhs box with instructions on the vhs box. It was taped inside the Vhs box to keep it from rolling around and was wrapped and this was all inside a padded...

    GG Self Destructed

But one shouldn't have to fix a design flaw by covering up the button and body with plastic when you just paid a 150 bucks for it only to cover up existing problems. Not to mention, on the GG i have, you can't put a piece of plastic on the button as the button to collar clearance is too tight...

    GG Self Destructed

Yes, i just received a GG the other day and I noticed that was going to be a problem, even if you had a locking button on it, the switch does not need to be depressed to complete the circuit. The design is such that any loose coins in your pocker or any steel that you may lay it against(a nail...
