what is making that tin like taste is the coil is not in contact with wick and the is making it burn hotter in that spot witch is giving you the taste of tin. the coil needs to be in full contact with the wick

if you are getting a tin like taste it is telling you that your coil is not right. i had the same problem with some of my coils and what i did to stop it was rap the coil on the the wick first then put it in the atty and have yet get the tin like taste
