    How's everyone's GFP?

I run a 0.5-0.6 ohm coil and have used noalox right from the start, there's no spark happening. I too have no more plating on the contact end of the firing pin. Don't really see any loss of performance though.

    Cloud Chasing Competition?

You pretty much have the idea, the judging for cloud comps are generally people from the shop, sponsors, and one or two from the public. Ameravape just needs to slither back under the rock they came out from.

Big difference between a real Caravella and a $24 Caravella Chinese clone?

I have the hcigar clone. They're so close that I've grabbed it thinking it was the original and vice versa. Overall I think the vela is overrated, like I said I own an original (purchased when they went on sale originally) they're beautiful but not worth the kind of cash people pay for them now.

    protovapor xpv

Another note on the crazy fast shipping... just realized the package cleared customs in 2 minutes, the only other one that cleared that fast was a trade I made on another forum where the person shipped the mod as "other: used sexual toy" (just about died laughing). I trust this one wasn't...

    protovapor xpv

So, my xpv was sent out from Hawaii on the 12th and its in customs now in Montreal (Canada 2hrs away). Wow. I think the Protovapor guys should talk to some of the Canadian suppliers, I order from Canadian companies and it takes longer to get to me than this device will from Hawaii. In fact i...

Big difference between a real Caravella and a $24 Caravella Chinese clone?

in my experience, the switches are the same as on the originals for the most part. The original Vela is tighter, the rest are pretty much the same maybe a bit more tilt on the clones. When pressing the buttons on the edge they all tilt a bit. No the originals do not bind on the edge when the...

Big difference between a real Caravella and a $24 Caravella Chinese clone?

I own both an original and a clone of a caravela, nemesis, chi you (which has stolen artwork from a Korean soccer team) and king (which is mostly a clone of the chi). Like an earlier poster said, with a quality clone there really is no difference. That said, I really don't see why people are so...

My experience w/ the Vaporshark DNA

Took two weeks of use for mine to have intermittent fire issues with the switch, about a week after I got it I looked into the v2 (dna30). Thankfully their shipping was displaying at 70+ dollars for international, decided to go with a protovapor xpv instead with the whole cost being lower and...

How often do nic liquids really get seized?

Got an order right now that should be paying rent at customs or health Canada. I'm guessing they'll either seize it or return to sender. First one out of about 50 orders. Win some, loose some.

    Kayfun and unexperienced user

The kfl is probably one of the most versatile rebuildables out there. I'm currently using one on my provari, microcoil at 1.4 ohms no issue and I run another on a nemesis at .7 ohms. A previous poster doubted the provari would fire a micro coil, I can yell you without a doubt, its no problem as...

    Blown away by bettery life...

I've had mixed results with efest batts. After about 20 cycles or so, they last about 2/3 as long as aw with three times as many cycles. The quality seems lower to me in the efest, I realize they both just repack batteries, but the aw seems to have more QC along the way.

    [Title Moderated]

If you could get food poisoning from mbv I would probably have had problems. I'm immune suppressed, (a year of chimo and radiation), I get sick really easy. Add to that, I consume upwards of 8ml/day. Like I said no issues. Sounds like the b&m guy was trying to sell his own juice.

Janty MID Series One - Now on PRE-ORDER SALE

Be careful to turn it off, if you leave it on it will kill the batteries down so low that at least one will be garbage. Just threw out the two that came with it. (Drawing battery power when not in use, but turned on)

    mech 18350 mode?

It really depends on the resistance of the atomizer, the lower the ohms the higher the draw the faster the battery dies. Personally I only buy telescopic mechs or ones with the three desperate tubes available (most of the good ones have all three available). Most of the time I only end up using...

Steam Monkey Community Feedback: What do you wanna see for the Z2 system?

A bottom coil silica rebuildable with adjustable juice control would be nice, short of a dripper (which you're on top of already) its one of the only gaps in the line now. I'm sure its something that crossed your mind anyway. Sent from my XT910 using Tapatalk 4

    First High end Mech

I've found the poldiac switch perfect on the weight. Not too stiff, not too light, and no misfires or light fires (not quite contacting). In bottom button config its a bit stiff, only because its a pinky fire. In top (thumb) button config its perfect.

    First High end Mech

I own all the mods you listed, my re-buys would be paps (lux if you can get it, gold contacts) or poldiac. The poldiac requires a little more maintenance on the contacts but they hit the hardest and are reasonably attainable. Both are in a class of their own.

Suggestions for an e-cig for construction site.

All my cheap cigalikes ate it on job sites. Its more expensive, but the solution I came to was a REO Grand. I don't use it at home, (prefer genesis atomizers) but its practically indestructible while I'm out or working.

    Look at a reo

The grand uses an 18490 with the kick. There are a bunch of different ways to brace the kick, or not at all. I didn't find I needed the brace until I started carrying it around with me, it tends to loose its ground connection. I just used a pencil eraser (one of the rectangular white ones cut...
