Hello and congratulations! I've been smoke free for 6 months now, and vaping has been an absolute pleasure. Also, everyone on ecf has been very helpful indeed.
Hi all, I've been vaping for around 6 months now and feel great, only downside is that I've probably spent just as much money on vaping as I was smoking analogs. Lol. My current favourite at the moment is my mvp 2 with a big baoby carto tank and vanilla custard juice, heaven.
I've had my mvp 2 for just over a month now, and can't speak any highly of it. I've recently coupled it with a carto tank and the difference they have over clearo's is amazing. I just wish I would've tried them sooner. Lol.
I switched from clearo's to carto tanks recently, and have to say how much nicer it is to not worry about the dreaded dry hit. Would definitely recommend.
I had the same problem that if I went over 6.5 watts I was getting a very bad burnt taste. It turns out I hadn't primed the coil correctly. After doing this it's vaping like a dream at 8 watts.
I upgraded from the itaste 3.0 to the MVP 2 a week ago, and I really can't fault it at all. I have only used an iclear 30, and an anyvape davide on it so far, and both performed great. Happy vaping
I was just wondering what sort of volts/watts your tank can handle. Mine is measuring at 1.9 ohms, and it seems that 7.5 watts is the maximum I can go before I get a burnt taste. Didn't know if this was about right.
That's no problem, I will be attempting to make my own coils so will probably end up changing them every couple of weeks. It seems to be vaping like a dream now what do you currently have your volts/watts set at? Thanks again for your suggestion.
Cheers tinkiegrrl, that definitely sounds like something I should look into. I'm going to tinker with one of the spare coils in a mo to see if removing a part of the flavour wick will help with the problem I'm currently getting, as frustration is starting to creep in.
Thanks for the speedy replies. I primed before using both coils, and I do take a few puffs every so often without firing. I've noticed that I'm not getting as many dry hits in the last hour, so I'm hoping that it just needed a little bedding in. I'm going to try to increase to 7 watts as I'm not...
Both heads were new yesterday, it was straight out of the box. The juice I'm using is 70/30 pg/vg. I primed the heads by blowing and sucking (sounds dodgy, lol) through the drip tip after I filled the tank but before it was on the battery, as the vendor had told me to.
