Sounds more like a hardware issue than a case of vaper's tongue. First, high VG% eliquids qunk/clog up fast, so the first thing you should try is to clean it (wash+dry burn). If that doesn't help, next try removing one of the flavor wicks (there should be two strands placed over the wick/coil)...
