I purchased two ego T's and gave one to a friend to use and he seems to have the same thing happen to his tank. For him I think he draws too hard as if he is still smoking a cigarette, but I cleaned it out easy enough by just soaking in warm water and shaking it out.

I will definitely keep your advice in mind, I am very much the same when I find something better, I cant go back! lol
