“Glass or Plastic tank?”

Hey guys so I have a Voopoo
Drag X PNP-X kit (Glass tank) and in the summer obviously it’s worse to vape because everything heats up a lot quick and takes longer to cool down, now we all know this lol.
However my question is, does Glass tanks get hotter and take longer to cool down compared to Plastic tanks? (Sorry if I explained this wrong lol, I just got done finishing a double shift!!)

For Example
- I have both the TPP-X Pod (glass) & the PNP Pod (plastic) for my Drag X Mod -I feel like the TPP-X glass pod tank heats up quicker and takes longer to cool down because of the glass then the PnP plastic Pod tank.

-Now the PNP Pod tank is 100% plastic while the TPP-X Pod Has a glass tank with a metal top and a plastic bottom similar to the PNP Pod.

-Now all that being said should I stick with full plastic PNP tank because that tank indeed Isn’t as hot/takes more time to heat up and less time to cool down?

-Or should I stick with the TPP-X glass tank instead because that tank isn’t as hot/takes more time to heat up and less time to cool down?

-I know this doesn’t seem like big enough deal to ask but my coils don’t last as long during the summer.

*If anyone knows this and can reply to give me a correct answer I’d very much appreciate it considering I’d be able actually save!!!!
Thank you!

It's not gonna heat up enough to matter. Unless you're just holding the fire button down. Those PNP tanks made out of plastic suck for other reasons. They will leak at some point being bottom fill. Worrying if your tank is going to heat up more because it's summer is a waste of time and energy.

Actually it will heat up enough. It’s summer so it’s hot out which means everything is warmer/hotter. Your phone ,vehicle, especially your Mod, it’s going to be warmer ingeneral because of the temperature it’s in. Which means you can’t vape as much in the heat, and takes longer to cool down in order to keep vaping without burning or drying your coil.
And yea those plastic PNP coils can leak, however I haven’t experienced that issue besides over time from condensation and a l quick wipe down once every couple of days. Which happens to every tank normally, unless you’re overfilling it especially again if your coils hot.

I don’t ever experience juice leaking. If your coil is flaming hot, that’s different, cotton in terms becomes “thinner” because of your coil being hot therefore making it easier for juice to keep you coil from getting dry but ends up bleeding past the coil and that’s what causes leaks. I used the PNP pod’s as back ups, I use the TPP-X tank mainly.

I’m simply wondering if glass or plastic takes longer to cool down and which one heats up quicker. Maybe I’ll find that answer from other people and their vaping experiences.

Also your name Coyote, does that have anything to do with the 5.0 Coyote engine from ford? Or just a cool name you chose? I’m just wondering because I’m a mechanic and have a 2019 5.0 mustang gt with the track package and I put in a ford performance screw supercharged.

Hola,

Imo, add another device to your rotation. Alternate to allow the units to cool properly for maximum coil life and hit consistency.

Cheers

The heat issue is still a non issue really unless you're constantly chain vaping. In normal usage, even in the summer, it's not gonna be a problem. Now, leaving a mod in the car in the summer is no good and it becomes a battery issue at that point. Overheated batteries are dangerous. But normal vaping usage isn't gonna be anything to worry about.
