Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

thanks for the suggestion, man. I hesitate on the epoxy idea because it sands differently, yellows with age, and I have no idea whether it would throw a different sheen when buffing it out and stuff. Thicker CA . . . it's crossed my mind in those desperate moments. Maybe worth a shot. I think the main reason I was avoiding going there is because it doesn't lay down like the stuff I use (the thin), and I'd be worried about sanding different builds (coat thicknesses). On the rounded surfaces, it's easy to burn thru the adjacent if the build isn't the same.

I can def see the concern with using an epoxy, but I'm fairly sure that a medium thickness CA would do wonders for you in these trouble spots. another thing that would probably be worth you playing with on these areas is microballoons. they will allow you to make your own on the fly consistency adjustments for these spots and help build a barrier. microballoons are really cool for something like this, def worth experimenting with them in these situations I'd say, just avoid breathing them in...

of course in the finish layers I can see the concern of different densities causing sanding problems, but these would be used only in the primary layers where you'd be using a courser sanding anyway, then once it's leveled off, even if the feather edging winds up to be broken edges, once that's leveled off you would go back to your uniform water thin ca coatings and then get even coat thickness buildup from there.

The dentist's temporary tooth filling that was supposed to last till Wednesday proved to be too temporary. Fell off a couple of hours after I left the clinic. For what he's charging this temporary filling should last a lot longer.

He's one of these "modern" dentists. He was playing "Ice Age" on the monitor above the chair. Never seen a dentist do this before. My old man god rest his soul would have turned and walked away.

How's the Egyptian health care system? Ours is mostly government funded, but dentists are full cost and for the wealthy

I once had a root canal done that had a temporary crown and that crown lasted for about a day. I lost it to a ham sandwich, which says a great deal about the ability of my girlfriend of the time's culinary skills and explains why i'm now annoying the crap out of married to a chef.

To get that crown done took so many pain-killing injections that i stopped counting at 18.

About a month ago, the last bit of dentistry to a front tooth had the dentist worried that he'd struggle to match the colour accurately, so i suggested he pulled the tooth out, ground it down a bit, stuck it on some fibreglass mesh and glued it back in.
With the proviso that i will not pay twice if i ever have to have the same tooth removed.
So, that's what we did.

$575.

Let's just say you're much better off without the Egyptian health care system!! It's inefficient, slow and restricts you to health insurance government hospitals; and these are disastrous to say the least . I pay an arm and a leg for a subscription with Bupa international. But still it doesn't cover dental care. I can't afford to include it for myself and my family.

In other news, i found a house that meets HRH's demanding standards not far from where i currently live in the armpit of Texas. i think i just wrote the biggest check of my life.

As a reward, HRH asked if i'd like to accompany her to Sears to look at some appliances. A bucket list of things to do before i die is something i've never made, but i doubt that going to Sears would make it.

In an interesting side note to dental issues - in Victorian England, false teeth were made from wood (or the teeth of the dead).
All you care about on a dentist visit is "will it hurt?" and the answer is "not me and not now".

At least he wasn't playing this

I was looking for the Harvey Korman/Tim Conway version but apparently that one is a heavily guarded state secret

There's a limit to budgeting and penny-pinching. Pay the money.
