A good friend gave me some SS 316L 28 gauge wire and some VCC cotton and I'm running them in the Nuppin on my Pinch and I gotta say that they blow away Kanthal and KGD. Flavor is clean and plentiful. I think I found a new setup
I thought SS was just for temp control mods.

That's what I thought too. It works just fine, it's just a bit lower resistance
It's fast, I'm running a 7 wrap parallel coil and it came out to 0.4Ω. What's real impressive is the flavor, much cleaner than kanthal. I can't really compare the ramp up to Ni80 because I haven't used that just Ni200 but it's just as fast as kanthal if not faster
