I think I still have a monkey coil in one of my RM2's. It just refuses to burn through [emoji6]I'm astonished at the response for a coil someone else builds; after all - this is a thread populated by the Mundy's, Dibby's, and Xobeloots of the world.

Wish I had the time an patience to build a fancy coil or two. Fanciest I've used is a twisted 2 strand lol. Been debating on buying a 15 foot roll of pre-made claptons.
we all have out druthers, but I don't bother with anything more wirey (mass) than simple, tight stacked coils for single batt. With a dual batt mod, sure, I get all silly w/ miles o' wire.
same goes for atties for me too tho. single batt → smaller atty→simple small coils. Dual batt required for 22mm atty and the stuff to fill it with.

Well I finally got this segment of that 2nd special project wrapped up. What normally takes, IDK, an hour on normal mods took me . .. . mmmmmmm .. . . . day'n'a'half. 
But I think the third try was the charmer, and now I can get back to normal with the batch. I did finish cutting squonk and detailed all the squonk holes on little sanity breaks (not breaks-in . .. breaks-for).
Wish I could tell you all about it . . . but I been sworn.

also, often it takes a lot of repetition [read as time in this context] to bury real issues under a mulch of propaganda and fearmongering hype that triggers votes. Seems that vote-impulse manipulation is the sole aim; rather than say . .. . . . errrrrm . .. .. serving in government.

i think we need to do away with the 2 party system. that's what's not working. I know we have other parties, but they've got no place in the senate and congress, and so, essentially, don't have any teeth.
