OK, and here's my handset (ringy-dingy). I'm going with an oil/wax finish on this beautiful Waterfall Bubinga that ValHeli ended up gifting me/us.

I'm shy to share it . ..
I love the way it feels in hand. From a tactile standpoint, it's just supersweet (both atty facing index trigger and atty away w/ thumb switching). Personally, I'm happy with the look of it too; but I suspect it may not appeal to everyone (thank goodness it's just me gonna have to look at it then! ).

At least you have the memories intact [emoji53]...and I'm sure it's still useful...somehow

So try to look on the bright side and be thankful for what you still have...if and when you can find it [emoji15]

I take mine out all the time. To work, even. Just don't, like, throw it across a parking lot or anything. But I've knocked it off the coffee table a few times, and not even a scratch. Hard wood is good

I'm with you sweetie [emoji6] Pretty much all of mine have ridden with me on the train. Although the Nutpunch only got to make one trip, but that was more due to bag space availability rather than fear of scratching. I also recently acquired a "toss across the parking lot" mod [emoji6]

I'm really looking forward to my surprise. Based on how the rest of this batch looks, I think the classified folks are gonna be SOL [emoji3]

We've been pretty lucky so far on the snow front [emoji3] It was in the 70's yesterday. I'll be sure to get some pictures posted ASAP (after the shock subsides and I can hold the camera steady [emoji6]).

Being one that's vaped 100mg base @ .2 ohm, I'm going to disagree with this in its context.

Maybe a good warning to mere mortals.
