**1'st and only post**

I wish for nothing more this Christmas then to spend it with my family. I cannot describe, in words, how greatly I love and appreciate every day I get to spend with them. I lost my father just over a year ago. I tried to convince him to make a switch to e-cigs many times with no luck. I stopped pressing him when he was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease). The greatest gift you can give someone is love and attention. I plan on getting gifts for my niece and nephew but what I really hope is to be able to teach them how important family is. We must learn to appreciate one another as we only have so much time on this Earth and a majority of such time should be spent with loved ones.

Special attention will be given to my niece, Arilyse, as she was my fathers "little peanut". She misses him so much and talks about him everyday, which is as wonderful as it is hard now that he is gone. Please remember people, the holidays are not about the material things but about the experiences you get to share with people near and dear to your heart.

Happy Holidays to everyone. Semper Fi Dad.

1st (and probably only) post.

All I want for Christmas is for those in my family who have medical needs to be able to afford their medication. I myself use $300 worth of Insulin a month (after insurance. Without it, I'd be paying nearly $2,000 a month) and my mother takes medication for her M.S. My father has a few health issues including high blood pressure, and my Grandfather is also a type 1 Diabetic. Material objects are trivial; while they are nice, they have nothing on being able to live a quality life, regardless of the myriad of health issues that plague my family. Everything besides the essentials are merely a second thought to many in my family, and while many of us are well off, we keep that in our minds at all times.

I love Holiday decorations. It seems like Central Florida decorates everywhere! I drive through downtown Winter Garden and the city has lights on every tree, it is so pretty. I went to downtown Orlando to go to the courthouse and they had decorated the file room!
Of course Disney goes overboard and Osborne Christmas lights at Hollywood Studios is amazing.

Where I am
#1 - I will be Santa to my 17 month old Daughter. It took 16 years for my Wife to talk me into having children (I had dreams to follow :) ), and we've been blessed with a real good one. We're still debating having a big Christmas for her, since she's so young, but she has been such a blessing, and has certainly brought the Christmas spirit back into this home full force.

I still believe in Christmas and I have been very very good :nun:
I will be playing Mrs Santa to my grandson whom lives with us. He is a special little boy who has been thru 3 deaths in the last 4 years. 2 Great grandmas and a Great grandpa.
I just want him to be Happy and have a wonderful Christmas.

*1st and only post *

im going to be extremely selfish here and say that i already have all i want from santa this year. on june 29th i got married and this christmas i will be spending with this special woman in a 5* hotel in prague , we are both lovers of christmas spirit but her family are not , so this year i saved up for quite some time and will be treating her to the luxury she deserves . so christmas eve , christmas day and boxing day will be spent looking over the skyline of prague , champagne in one hand and a wife in the other. what i will recieve this christmas is the gift of giving. and who could want more than that.

#1 and only

We all should cherish everyday. I love living in the best country I have ever known. I am grateful to all my comrades who will not be with their families this holiday season because they gave everything for the rest of us. For the ones that will be, we thank you for your courageous service to your fellow man. I wish that some of you win this contest.

Where to begin. I am very thankful that my daughter and my two grandchildren are staying with us while her husband is deployed. I am sorry that my son-in-law won't be able to be with them over the holidays, or even see them for a year; but, am happy that they chose to here with us. Unfortunately, my husband suffered a mild stroke last month and now we all are trying to adjust to the changes. It is very stressful and sometimes unbearable, but I couldn't imagine going through this with anyone else. I consider myself very lucky that I will have all my children and grandchildren home for Christmas, and that my husband is still here with me.
