Sitting down, facing forward.
I'm still too chicken to try one of these. Too much fussing, using needles and all. I like how the clearo can be filled better (open up and drip in the liquid). I'm sure it is wonderful to use but I still like the ease of just screwing on a carto and being on my way and not worry about liquid getting on anything.
Maybe someone can invent a filling machine, where you set your CE3 in and pull a level and it gets filled... next.... Now that I would do :)

Konny, can you get to work designing that please?

Don't be afraid of fooling with a CE3 or a syringe. The tip is blunt so it would take a really big amount of force to penetrate skin. I find it faster and easier to fill a CE3 than to drip liquid into a carto or even load a clearo. Now I may start thinking about a machine to load them, but that would get complex and probably kind of expensive.

I'm having problems with mine. I got them a few hours ago. The first one leaks with vanilla in it, I keep checking and have to wipe threads and top of sealed 65mm battery every few puffs, has little taste and vapor. Tried a second one with Desert Joe, it left a spot of liquid on battery a few times but then stopped, has great taste and vapor. Put vanilla in a third, no leaks, but taste like burned plastic terribly. I watched SteelJan's videos first and compared to the instructions that came with the cartoz. They were about the same so I just did what the instruction said. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to remedy it? I love the products and customer service from SI, and I was looking forward to these so much. Other than doing what the instructions said is there something I could've done different? The one that leaks bad, I went back and tried removing the air like in outlaw vaper's video, but it still leaves a puddle when it sits on a napkin.

2 out of the three I have filled so far have a funny burnt like taste, is that the primer. Will it go away? I let them sit for 5 minutes

Ok so I have filled 3 of these, the 2 in question are totally burned up. The one I filled with cowboy is fine and worked great, the other two are done. Nasty burnt taste. Almost like no juice is getting to the wicking area. Anybody else have this issue? Did I get duds?

I'm not afraid of it. I have used them to fill cartos before. I just don't like doing it. :) I don't like housework either :p

I don't like housework either, yeah I vacuum, dust do floors laundry and eveything else. The big difference here is the reward of great flavor, great vapor and tremendous convenience all on a "small" battery. What more can we ask for? (other than younger, richer, smarter)

Check to see that the silicone ring is seated all the way down.

Don't toss them, the post is probably too far down.

I would probably break down and at least try them if it wasn't for the fact that in a few weeks the newer version will be coming along. I'll wait for those. Maybe. I dunno, we'll see. I've been known to impulse shop a time or two in my life

I received mine about 40 minutes ago. :)

I have it set up and initially I did get a funny taste but not an offensive taste. After about 10 drags the taste of the juice came through. I am getting very clean, smooth draws with a full taste and very good vapour.

I did find the filling process a bit tricky. The hardest part for me was filling the syringe. I'm sure after two or three attempts at filling it it will become a lot easier, it's not a negative. When you first insert the needle in the hole on the CE there is a thin layer of the material that you have to pierce but it doesn't take much pressure. I did it upside down as described in the instructions and it filled very quickly. In other words the juice comes out a lot faster than what it does going in.

I have been puffing on it now for about 20 minutes with no sign of leakage anywhere and I have checked the battery post and tip after every drag.

If it keeps up with this performance I will not be using anything else. I can't think of any complaints other than the tip that comes with this is very small but it can be changed with any other SI tip.

Thumbs Up :vapor:

I have some of the non-SI version of these (I am assuming they are mostly the same, they look pretty identical) and notice that when they are almost empty they leak all over the place and gurgle like mad. It always happens right at the end. Do the SI ones do that as well?

Is there a fix to this, or a way to vape them completely dry?

Gah! You guy's excitement is contagious. I wasn't going to get these since I'm pretty happy with my X2 clearos, but I broke down and ordered a pack today. I just have to see what all this fuss is about... You guys are killing me.

On a side note at least my dad decided to order his own Volt supplies, so I have spare cash to try out all these funky new toys. And thanks for the newbie "how to fill a carto" video on the site. I was shocked to see my dad filling up his own supplies and he mentioned he saw it in the video. I used to do all that stuff for him. He's old and cranky, so he didn't like me trying to explain how to do it... Apparently that video is fine though! LMAO

Hey everyone,

I know some you of you purchased these on my recommendation, so I'm sorry if your having an issue with dry burn tastes. It's a simple fix and comes from the juice not being able to get to the coils. It's a very easy, quick fix. I just posted a temporary video in YouTube to show you how.

One I get mine, I will replace this video with one on how to fill, clean and fix wicking issues.

If it is the one that can be seen through the glass, they all appear to be in the same position. Is there an easy way to get to it to move it?

Take the back of your syringe needle and push down on the silicone ring that you out the needle through just to make sure it is seated

How do you guys recomend I get the primer fluid out of the CE3? Would a rinse of water do the trick? And afterwards, do i just let it sit to dry or blow into it...I know dry burns are a no no

Primer is usually pg. just put your juice in, after the first couple of vapes, it goes away.. The primer is in the wick.
