I received mine about 40 minutes ago. :)

I have it set up and initially I did get a funny taste but not an offensive taste. After about 10 drags the taste of the juice came through. I am getting very clean, smooth draws with a full taste and very good vapour.

I did find the filling process a bit tricky. The hardest part for me was filling the syringe. I'm sure after two or three attempts at filling it it will become a lot easier, it's not a negative. When you first insert the needle in the hole on the CE there is a thin layer of the material that you have to pierce but it doesn't take much pressure. I did it upside down as described in the instructions and it filled very quickly. In other words the juice comes out a lot faster than what it does going in.

I have been puffing on it now for about 20 minutes with no sign of leakage anywhere and I have checked the battery post and tip after every drag.

If it keeps up with this performance I will not be using anything else. I can't think of any complaints other than the tip that comes with this is very small but it can be changed with any other SI tip.

Thumbs Up :vapor:

What kind of tip do they have? I use end caps like in the cartos on mine. If you don't like the tip, pull and end cap off a carto and push it in

I have some of the non-SI version of these (I am assuming they are mostly the same, they look pretty identical) and notice that when they are almost empty they leak all over the place and gurgle like mad. It always happens right at the end. Do the SI ones do that as well?

Is there a fix to this, or a way to vape them completely dry?

i am useing 5 of them from got vapes since the 9th of july and i don't have a leaking problem of any kind.

i will say that after you fill them a time or two,,when you with draw the needle a little juice is stuck on the side of the needle,,,so i take a q-tip and swab in side the ce3 before i put the cap back on and i also use the Q-tip to swab the inside of the threads.

any way no leaking that i can notice.
i love these things and i'll will never go back to old style cartomizers or clearos.

It's not a permanent video, just something to help everyone.

I can see what needs to be done now. I thought I had the right idea but I'm still getting the burnt taste so I don't have enough room. I'm going to park them for the night and try again tomorrow. I vaped out of an X2 that a coworker had today and it was just amazing. I'm sure these will be the same once I get it figured out. Thanks for taking time - on a Friday night no less - to post that video!

Here's the tip in comparison to a clearo' tip. It's made of some kind of rubber.

I'm using a tip I was sent from another company that came with a CE2.

I have just had a look on the SI website. Do they sell tips that would fit these? I can only find clearo tips and comfort tips, would the comfort tips work for these?

Update on my CE's I have now filled four of them with no problems, it really brings out the flavour, I forgot how unique Freedom is ;) I will soon have another one filled hence the question regarding tips. :)

Edit: I should add each one comes with an end cap like the carto end caps and they work just fine, it's just I am used to a bigger tip now.

Yes, the comfort tips will work. So do regular drip tips. Personally, I like the end caps in them, you get a warmer vape and it keeps them shorter.

Thanks for the burn fix. I got one working perfect though so you know I am lazy. Wonder if there is a way to adjust it without draining the liquid.

You can, but to me,its more of a pain. You could put a toothpick or something in the air hole and wiggle the tube. The problem is, you have to do it without breaking the seal of the silicone cup seal. What I have found now, is that before filling, I always check it. Since all my juice is 70/30, I know I need to have it unseated just a little bit.

Got my CE3's today. Very fast shipping, less than 3 days to my door!

Only used one so far, but love the vapor and flavor from it. I get as much vapor as the X2 Clearo. I also really like the X2 Clearos, but found that on all three I've owned that I get decent leakage from the hole on the battery connection end. These do not seem to have that issue, and can hold near the same amount of liquid.

Not a huge fan of having to use a syringe, requires far more time than a quick fill in a carto or X2 Clearo, but wasn't difficult to figure out. It really does make the difference for a good seal on the CE3 though which prevents leaking, so it seems like a necessary trade off.

I find that cartos can last me two or three weeks, and the X2 clearos a month until I broke them. I hope these will last that long too. I suspect that unless I break it, that the coil will last as long as an X2 Clearo?

Edit: Oh yea, I actually really like the tip that comes with these. I've used the standard, comfort tips, and a few acrylic ones I got elsewhere on my volts, and find these to be nice and small. I also think that they help with the seal?

On a few of my older volts and an x2, I had to lift the connection piece a little using a tiny screwdriver (flathead) in order to get a connection to get vapor. It could very well have been due to my overall wear and tear on my batteries though.

I got my order this morning with some CE3's and a bunch of other goodies.
Mostly impressed with the CE3's, I was familiar with syringe filling and I had one going in about 5 min. More later.

I also got a Tobacco Starter kit with the 68mm auto battery just because I have never owned anything smaller than an eGo battery. Super impressed with the performance of such a small package, it didn't match the X2 with a Clearo by any means but the form factor / size for the buck is 10/10. First time I enjoyed a pre-filled carto too, I threw the Cowboy 18mg after charging the battery for about 45 min and it was good to go. I LOVE that it came in a little cigarette pack, I almost kept everything in there and put it in my pocket :D but I didn't. If someone EVER asks for an easy and affordable way to test the waters in vaping, my search is over. Tobacco Starter Kit from SI. Here's the link. Buy it. (Zing!)

I got some 555 cartos for the mini as well, TOP NOTCH flavor. The Cowboy will definitely appeal more to people just quitting or who like a bit of analog bite in their vape. I do like it but the 555 is a better taste for me.

Anyway, I did get the burnt taste from this first CE3 I filled up and left the house with, so I was kind of disappointed and left the X2 in my car at work. Put the 68mm through it's paces, and laugh all you want but DANG is an auto battery kind of fun. I have taken puffs of Blu's here and there, but this SI batt is way more responsive and hard hitting. The batt JUST ran out on me while I was typing this, I definitely got 100+ drags off of it over 8 hours of sporadic use, and I mean long, gurgling drags. Also, a white body and an orange LED is so fun. Looks great and I think a few people thought it was just a cigarette. 10/10 for my first experience with a mini/cig size setup.

SO I just got home and watched Outlaw's pre-video and can't thank him enough. I pulled the center out just a bit and now my CE3 is hitting like a truck. I really thought I'd be hard pressed to find a thicker, fuller vape than my 1.7 ressurectors (when completely topped off, of course), but I am in a bit of vaping nirvana right now. Tastes like a brand new atomizer, dewicked, deprimered and freshly filled, every hit. Granted I am a noob at heart and didn't fully understand the IMPORTANCE and/or NECESSITY of the RUBBER RING SEAL when pulling out the pin. I had a lap-full of VS Tampa, and a new outlook on simple physics. That won't happen again, and I've already forgotten about the spill :)

The only thing I was truly mortified by in my order was the smell of the comfort tips straight out of the bubble package. Wow is that a tear jerker!
Step 1: Place fingers in a tight pinch on your nostrils.
2: Remove comfort tip from bubble pack with other hand.
3: Run under screamin' hot water for 30 sec.
4: Shake dry. Remove fingers from nose.
5: Enjoy a super comfy tip on your slammin' new CE3!

This concludes chapter 2 haha! I owe a big thanks to Smokeless Image for holding some contests and letting a poor college student like me in on some solid gear. Jokes on them, I get paid next Friday and I'll be ordering some 555 and Cowboy. Wait a minute...

It looks like there will be people introduced to using needles because of these CE Cartomizers. While searching the net I found "in bold" how to do it.

1. Try to get your hands on a 1ml syringe(diabetic), As the instructions say, don't fill all the way to the top. A 1ml will be perfect not only because its a lot easier to read small amounts but also cheap on Amazon. $15.42 for 100(without needles). I think you can also get them in a 50 pk.

2. You will find that after several uses, your markings will rub off. Even though they're cheap, I like to get the most out of things. Anyway, cover the markings with clear packing tape. The needle will stop being useful before the marking go away. They get a "sticky" plunger travel over time.

3. Before filling the syringe, pull it up above the amount you want to use. Then, without the needle attached, submerge the tip in the liquid and expel the air. Maybe twice while still submerged. Then fill and remove from juice, turn upside down to push any remaining air, if any, out of the syringe(again, without the tip), Apply tip and fill device(cart, clearo,CE, etc.).

4. ejuice for me is a lot like mustard. No matter how hard I try I always get some on me. The 1 ml syringe will fit inside the opening of most bottles, so, by eye, try to just submerge the tip in the liquid, moving down as you draw in otherwise the body of the syringe gets covered with juice. Messy, messy, messy.

Good recommendation

You can put a lot more than a ml in tough, when they say don't fill all the way, they mean leave a little tiny bit. If you fill all the way, you will push juice out the battery connection side and then have to clean it off. Stop filling when the juice gets to the metal seat
