I just used my juice on Phoenix bottom coils and it was great. Now, my FIRST Ce3 from SI the juice tastes like burned garbage and it's gurgling every draw. The rubber top seal looks pushed down way too low by the draw tube but I can't be sure. It doesn't look right on the next one out of the box either, but I'm not sure exactly where it's supposed to sit. Leaking out the top -- couldn't even handle one slow needle fill.

FIRST ONE.

My rubber top seal is 6mm from the top of the tube on all of mine. When I put the end cap on it leaves a 2mm gap between the two. I hope this helps.

First, this is not a new product. The Ce3 has been out for some time, just not for SI. Second, this is the worst vape I have ever had, and this product CLEARLY does not work on the 1300 X2 at all. I loaded up my SECOND one and it tastes like burned garbage as well. Then I switched it to an old regular 808d battery (102mm) and it sucked but was less crappy. So that's probably why the performance issues. People need to post their bats.

My guess is whatever ohm rating these have, probably does not work well on bats with more power.

In fact, the other Ce3s have a 2.4-2.6 ohm product and a 2.6-2.8 ohm version. So why does SI have just one? What is the ohm rating?

EDIT: I just used my Johnson Creek juice (other was DIY 80/20) on a THIRD one and the popping was so loud it made me jump. The juice is getting seared my by 1300 X2

EDIT AGAIN: So I put some different juice into the 4th carto and it was great...

WHAT IS GOING ON???!!! Am I supposed to believe 3 clearos were crap and the 4th great??

these are from the exact same factory as the other vendor ...there are clearly some variance issues happening that we are looking into.

The ones in stock are 2.4-2.6 ohms (all of our batteries are rated at 3.6v including the X2's and should have no issues with 2.1-3.2 ohms)

Just let Cs know the issues and they will be happy to give you points in order to replace them with other clearos or cartos.

I'm sorry that your having a bad taste issue, mine is sooo good even though I had problems to begin with on which battery it fitted, presently using an auto 900 but others only work on my 78 autos.
I believe that "Imagine" posted that they are 2.6 - 2.8 ohm

CLEARLY the ohm rating is wrong! These do not work on X2s!!!!!!!!!!!!
I use them on my 1100mah Kgo and my Twist as well as with my 78mm Volt batteries with fantastic results. I also vape Johnson Creek juices with them (tenessee cured and Island)...best flavor I've had.

Well, I finally got mine. Of course it also looks like one of my shipments is lost. An order that I placed two days before the CE3 has still not arrived and was mailed two days before the ce3 order.

I haven't had a chance to play with them too much because they came late and I have a football meeting. I did notice a couple of things when I opened up two of them.

First, it looks like these are the same exact ones that the other company sells. It has the same instruction card same syringe and needle and same packaging. Everything is identical with the exception of the drip tip.

It looks like the factory is doing something slightly different now. First it looks like they're using primer now which they didn't use before. I even opened up one out of the last box that I received from the other company and it too has primer.

Now , the main difference I am seeing is that the center post is pushed much further down, thus leaving a very small opening for the juice to get to the wicks and coil. Unless you have a thinner juice, his would cause wicking problems and thus dry hits. Unfortunately, this is a quality control issue, not a design issue from what I can see.

I have filled two of them and took a couple of hits before I left. Now they are standing up on my desk for a couple hours to see if it leaks. I will report later

So pleased you finally got your CE3's Outlaw *waits patiently for his next video to be produced*
hurry home from your football meeting! LOL

Yep. Ditto.

I have one that tastes OK for now. But, if i hit it too hard or too long, I get the burned taste. I know cartos are muted, but I love taking a long deep vape as the evening goes on and the cartos don't care. Does the X2 clearo suffer from this same issue?

I got my shipment today, filled up 5 of them vaped a couple times each so far so good no ones leak nor any burnt taste. I don't have to adjust any post either on CE3 nor battery. One thing about not seating right between CE3 and battery where you cannot screw CE3 all the way in. All I have to do is clean up between thread on CE3 because there will be some debris around the thread. Btw I use CE3 with only one of mine 78mm manual. All my juice are around 80/20 Pg/Vg.

Another note one of the CE3 don't create a lot of vapor, I check battery and see excess liquid on battery post. I gave CE3 one lite blow to get rid of excess liquid and that help create vapor as other.

Man what a different between Cartomizer and this CE3, clean taste, a lot of vapor easy to see when need to be refilled. I don't think I will go back to regular cartos no more.

Now I need to buy CE3 case where I can carry around with me. I'm still no so sure about leaking and don't wanna leave CE3 in my jean pocket all the time.

So far, it looks like the luck of the draw with CE3s. Mine, at least the two I am using at the moment, are working fine. I did stop using the VG vanilla liquid in them, the popping and burning was getting out of hand and making a mess in the CE3 with burnt liquid residue. That liquid is quite thick and can't be drawn into a syringe thru the needle. I cleaned that CE3, had to use a dental pick to get the inner silicon seal out, but it did clean up and it's working fine with SI RY4 at the moment. It'll be a while before I use more of them since I want to test for lifespan, so I'm going to stick with the first two until they die. I will say cleaning them, getting the inner seal out, the center post/air tube out and then putting it back together is more difficult than cleaning a clearo, so I'll test liquids with clearos in the future and keep the CE3s for single flavor use.

Something I am wondering about is how many people are using them overall and what is the overall percentage of problems? More than one of us posting here has had excellent results with them, while others have had problems of one sort, or multiple sorts, or another. As a new product for SI, I think we should all expect some performance issues and rely on SI to do their thing with support and working things out. I hope SI gets as good support from their manufacturer as they provide to us if there are manufacturing problem. I know I was anxious to try them and would have been disappointed if I had experienced some of these problems, but patience will be the best tool in our arsenal.

My ce3s from GV,i have not had any problems with them so far,,,i have been useing the since july 9th.

i was going to order a box of them from SI in august,,but i am going to wait till mroutlaw has time to play with them for a while.
he seems to know more about these ce3s then anyone on the SI forum.
