Personally i choose not to buy any product that forces me to use proprietary components that could cease production at any time. I've got a few devices sat around that i can no longer purchase coils/pods for. Which is a shame because the mod looks fantastic.
It's a fine balacing act introducing these type of devices - a manufacturer may gain some sales by going this route at the risk of losing other sales from people who feel the same as me.....
This device uses GTX coils and I seriously doubt as good as they are that they are going away.

    Somewhere between here and there

Not to mention that the GTX coils work on so many different devices that you can almost pick any form factor and there's something that uses them.

Being able to change the coil without reducing the tank is an awesome innovation it's just a great feature. Even though it's not something that you would likely use all the time when you do need to do something like that especially on the go it is a mess LOL. I appreciate sticking with coils that have already been released as well or at least being compatible with already released coils. I will not buy a product if it's either not rebuildable or doesn't have coils that I already am using I mean who wants to have 500 boxes of different coils that you have to have

By rotating the pod to you may adjust the air inlets which overlap the area between the body and the pod to provide accurate airflow to your desire.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm very sorry that Vaporesso is blindly following the silly trend of combining a good box mod with a pod module.
I look at the market with regret and see how many beautiful box mod designs are fatally tainted by the ugly built-in pod!
Even from the point of view of making a profit: would sales of box mods with 510 connectors be less than sales of a pod-mod? I doubt it very much.
Maybe a new trend should start: simultaneously release on the market two modifications of the classic box-mod with a 510 conector and its copy with the pod module?

Sorry ..a painful point for me.

I agree. All a pod mod is is a mod with tank that has a proprietary connection. It makes the user beholden to the manufacturer for tanks. Alaso, like most coil heads, pods don't stay on the market too long for the most part so you are always having to get a new system and the "mod" part is rendered useless.
In that respect: profitable. It's the same as cigalike brand using proprietary connections, you gotta buy all your stuff from them.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised they didn't kill the 510 connection years ago.

That's why I cringe when I see USA vapers stocking up on too many or even solely on pod systems. A couple years down the road, if you need a new pod, your market is very slim since you need to find someone with that same exact pod.

I'm glad I'm stocked up on 510 mods & tanks. I don't need this new market anymore.

Ouch. What's wrong with their painting? Do you mean finish? Is it peeling?

My guess is the rubber coating. Being a plastic body, I don't think it's painted, I think the plastic is dyed (at least for the one-tone models). But I could be wrong.

I have 2 PX80's in my rotation of devices and have had them going since the beginning of January and have noticed 0 problems with paint chipping away.

Thanks. @Mangrills was talking (and I was curious) about the Swag 2. I sounds like they all come with some kind of rubberized finish?

True. But many of those (the ones I buy, anyway), come with a 510 connection, either included or available for purchase separately. So the mod can be used as a regular 510 device.

To be honest, I don't pay too close attention to the pod/pod mod market, but I have only seen a handful that come with or have am optional 510 adapter. Seems like it's the exception, not the norm. But that's just from what I perceive from what I've seen.

Yes, some people think it's paid, but I don't believe it is, just a thin coating. First thing I thought when I got my first one was "yeah, that'll wear off."

Thanks. Do you like it? It's been on my list for a long time. I guess it's now or never. Not a must have, mind you, just a maybe. :D
