0Mg Nic Question?

I'm finding that I'm vaping more than I probably should...(yeah...I don't have an addictive personality.)

So I'm thinking about trying some 0mg nic carts and juices so that I can vape as much as I want and not be concerned.

Are there any nic carts that give you a really good throat hit? I've read up and it seems that the opinions on throat hit differ. Some say it's the nic that gives the TH.

Anyone have any suggestions?

In my experience, lower nic content in your juice equals lower throat hit. I wonder if something non-toxic and non-addictive could be used to replace the nic that might provide a similar sensation.

You might try some menthol, spearmint, mint or doublemint. Whichever mint flavor you like. It does give bit of a throat hit in 0 nic. I have heard but can't confirm that the liquids with a bit of a peppery taste also give a throat hit. Like 555, clove and cinnemon.
Some people say that adding a drop or two of liquorl..like vodka or the like (clear) might help. I haven't tried that. If you find that adding a drop or two of liquor makes your e-liquid too watery..also add a couple drops of glycerin. USP foodgrade only.

That's interesting MK. The 555 flavor is my favorite, so I may just try that in 0mg. I also did smoke clove cigs in the past so that may be something to try as well. I was never a menthol smoker...but I'm not opposed to trying it.

Why 0 nic? At night when I am vaping pretty heavy, I vape the 6 or 8 mg. Some flavors offer a bit of a throat hit, but not much at that level. Still, I find them more satisfying then the 0mg. What they lack in throat hit is made up for by the yummy taste which is stronger at the lower nic levels.

Everyone is different, and you just have to find what works best for you, but for me, when I am vaping heavy the 6 or 8 does it fine.

I find that adding liquor adds some hit to it, but as MaryKay mentioned, it thins the liquid a lot. Also, you could try upping the voltage (assuming you're using a 3.7v battery). 5v or 6v gives me a good throat hit, even with just DIY 0mg 50% PG/50% VG + flavoring liquid.

The only reason I thought I'd try the 0mg carts JenJen is because I feel like I never put the VK down. With an analog, you light, you smoke, you put it out, you're done. I'm finding without a specific end point I just vape continuously. For all I know, I may be getting more nic than smoking (though I'm probably not because I don't have any weird nic side effects).

I'll take your suggestion and buy some 6 or 8 for the evening. Maybe I'll try one flavor in the 0mg.

How do I know my batt voltage and how do I up it? It's a standard VK.

I should probably try 0 mg for night time too, but the 6 and 8 seems to be working so well lol! The extra longs have a higher voltage then the standard sized batteries, by the way - although I have no idea what that voltage might be. (blonde here lol)

Try 3 part of vg one part of everclear to make 4ml,then 1 drop of vanilla i drop of mentol.if you add tobacco absolute is gonna be better

I'd never taken the e cig from my mouth and I use to smoke a very very strong cigarrete,high nic was not enogh for me, since I start doing 0 nic or very low most part of the day and 24mg only after meals it has stop the frecuency of vaporing and the pleasure is better

I don't know whether it's psychological or not, but I get plenty of 'throat hit' off 0mg. I never smoked analogs for a throat feeling either, tho - I smoked because it was feeding time for my nicotine monster (who has now died a quiet death).
