I just ordered some from Clouds of Vapor. Trying those and the 306's too.

I was thinking about trying out some 1.25 ohm dual coil cartos (I usually use Boge 2.0) on my P16. Where would be the best place to order them? I'm looking for a supplier with good prices, and fast shipping (which rules out non US suppliers).

Got my package yesterday. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed. After all I had heard about dual coils, I was expecting more. I find that vapor, throat hit, and flavor are about the same as the Boge 2.0 cartos. They don't seem to be any warmer than the Boge either. They do drain batteries much faster though. Tested resistance prior to vaping was 1.4 ohms, battery was fresh off the charger at 4.2 volts. After only four hours of vaping, battery was down to 3.55 volts.
Maybe they need more time to "break in", but this is my initial impression. At least they're not worse than the Boge 2.0's, so it's not a waste of money.

Device used was a Super-T P16 with AW IMR 16340.

I went through the 5 pack of 1.25 ohm dual coil smok tech cartos from Hoosier and was happy with them for the most part. The only problem was that they popped too much and I would commonly get spatters of juice that I would inhale. Not too pleasant. I use the Cherry Pawn drip tips, so it wasn't like I was mouthing the dead-end of the carto either. I noticed that when they heated up, the popping and spattering was worst.

So I backed down to the 1.5 ohm version dual coil smok tech (again from Hoosier) now, and I've experienced no more spattering, just nice cool vapor. Haven't noticed any less vapor production either. I am a happy camper!

I was using my KGO 3.7v.

Interesting. I've noticed audible popping, but only get splatters if I've overfilled, and no problems getting any my mouth since I started using a delrin shorty tip.

I've been tempted to give the 1.5 a try, if only because they are available from many other vendors. Did you find that the vapor was noticeably cooler than with the 1.25? Or that the carto itself resists overheating for a bit longer?

Wouldn't mind a carto that allowed more frequent draws without overheating, but don't really want to sacrifice the heat of the draw itself as I'm lowering my nic and can use every extra bit of TH I can get.

The 1.5ohm carto does seem to stay slightly cooler longer, but not a whole lot. I just did 15 consecutive large chain vapes right now on the 1.5 before it got really hot to the touch. I don't rememberbeing able to go that many with the 1.25. So you might get a couple more vapes before cooldown. One tip I found with the 1.25 was to loosen the carto just a bit, and it will allow more airflow. More airflow = stays cooler longer. Of course that means less of a ratio of vapor to air, but it did help keep it cooler.

I did a brief side-by-side of both the 1.5 and 1.25 when I transitioned, and the biggest noticeable difference for me was the excessive popping and splattering, especially as the carto ages. I have not had the 1.5's splatter at all, period. Also, since they have more resistance, it will theoretically give me a longer battery life as well. I interchange between 4 Kgo batteries all day, so I am not able to determine the exact minutes it will give you, but that is another advantage.
