It's complete trash. I wish I hadn't downloaded it. The MVR profiles are completely broken now and renamed rvv and rvw. The reversed the functions of the 2 so now you set the wattage to fluctuate instead of the volts. The stealth function is completely ......ed. They didn't add a single useful feature. I'm probably going to reset and revert back to 1.2.

??? Maybe you should take a closer look... Nothing seems broken to me...

By broken I mean they got reset and the VV no longer has the 3 profiles based on resistance. It is now the VW. Why the hell would I want my watts to change instead of changing voltage increments?

How is it useful to have the wattage change in increments during a puff instead of the volts? Watts has nothing to do with juices. There are no more resistance based profiles which is asinine. I read the "patch notes" before posting so I know what the changes did. A garbage update is still garbage.

It is too bad that they reduced the three MVR VV profiles to one RVV profile, though I never used that feature myself.

On the other hand, I think having three RVW variable wattage profiles and the ability to import, export and share those profiles is interesting and potentially quite useful.

Supposedly, joyetech improved the power management as well.

Definitely a good update, not a garbage update, in my opinion. Download link is here on the left side.

OS X = Mac computer OS. Not iOS/iPhone.
I'm waiting for the Mac version of MVR + firmware.
Nice try though :)

Lol, ahhhh I gotcha. the MVR version. Idk why I thought you meant like iOS for the Vic.
I know the difference between the 2. I still want the VapeDroid though.

I don't know whether to laugh or......

They changed the variable VV to variable VW and it isn't right?
Uhmmm.......... it you make different Voltage settings you are varying the wattage going to The Atomizer.
So setting multiple watts at differing time is the same thing. 8w for .25sec, 7.5 for .5sec, 7w for 8sec.

Havent dl'd yet but this seems to be what your saying.

Watts and volts are not the same thing. Fluctuating the wattage produces much different voltage variations than just changing the voltage in .1 increments. What I'm saying is they fixed something that wasn't broken to begin with. Now I consider it broken. Adjusting watts to suit a flavor doesn't make any sense. Especially when you can throw the same flavor into multiple accessories with different resistances and voila your wattage settings are useless.

Are you familiar with ohms law?

I'm no expert but reckon a change in voltage results in a change in wattage assuming ohms is a constant and vice versa.

Maybe not the way you're used to skinning this cat, but the cat gets skinned both ways.

It actually makes more sense to me if the idea is to have a profile for a juice. Same juice different ohm heads and the voltage will produce different wattage. However, same juice with different ohm heads the wattage stays the same and voltage is adjusted accordingly.

If you change the volts, the watts change. If you change the watts, the volts change. This is all part of ohm's law.

P(Power)=I(Current)*V(Voltage)

I think maybe what he's saying is that when you change WATTS on the device, that you get more fine tuned voltage settings than you do by changing your volts in .1V increments. When you change watts on an eVic you are actually getting voltage changed in .01 increments.

Either way, I love that they put sleep at the top when you press the button 5 times now!
