I am trying to figure out if maybe I just got a dud or what but I wanted to share what I have noticed so far with my BVC coils. The 1.8 coil that came installed on my mini was flawless and the vapor and flavor production was great and lasted around 2 weeks before I finally put a new one. I bought a 5 pack of the 1.6 because the b&m did not have the 1.8 I noticed after only using the 1.6 for a few days I am getting this slight and very very slight burnt taste. I vaped it the rest of the day which was yesterday and popped a new 1.6 in earlier today and the same thing is happening it's just a VERY slight burnt taste. I am running it at around 9 watts 4.1 volts .... Anyone else or is it just me?

I had some burnt taste till I realized that letting the new coil soak for about 20 minutes. The other thing is that I empty the last bit of juice that has turned dark and put fresh fluid in. The fresh flavor . Once in a while I give mine a suck without pushing the button.
Yeah I've had no issues. One thing to note is you went to a lower Ohm coil so perhaps your juice needs the power to drop a tad to avoid burning?
I changed out the 1.8 for a 1.6. When I put the coil in I dropped a few drops of juice on the screen. Closed it up and applied 6 or so primer puffs. Let it sit for about 10 minutes. I dropped the voltage down to 3.2. First small puff wet socks. Proceeded to prime a bit more. Still wet socks. Let it sit over nite and tried it again this morning. Within minutes and after raising the power slowly it was vaping perfectly. Taste, vapor everything was the same as the 1.8 if not better.
