I got 3 5 packs of 1.7ohm CCV Ressurectors in anticipation of getting my Super T P+ 18650. I was going to use them in a tank. I have some Big Daddy tanks and a Liquinator. I tried them in the Liquinator and punched 2 normal sized holes, like I do with all my Boge 2.0 and 3.0 cartomizers and put on the 5ml SS sleeve. I tried them at all kinds of settings on my Provari and Infinity Pro and they weren't really hitting (perhaps they need to break in more?) and I was getting a bit of a burnt taste. Then they started leaking like crazy (never had a carto do that) and juice was all over the place, and I noticed the filler in them is not as thick as the Boge's.

I tried this with 2 cartomizers with the exact same results, and I am relatively sure I didn't punch into the middle filler (I use the Brass tube T-punch from Big Daddy Vapor..or Lowes)

Just wondering what I did wrong? Can these be punched for tanks, what is the best voltage for them?

Anyone have success with them in tanks?

Yeah, I couldn't get them to stop leaking. I have had plenty of success with DC's, but it really takes a thin juice to get them going hard. I use my Provari with my tanks like you do, but it always threw up error messages. I have been using 3.0ohm Boge Shorties in my Lil'mama on the Provari, Darwin and Infinity at 4.6v and they make lots of vapor, and don't burn at that voltage. I just saw some 1.7 Smoktech shorties at madvapes, and I will be trying those on my REO mini and Smoketech DC shorties with my Precise. I will try the one punch in the DC on those. I just like the shorter tanks. Loving the reviews Extol!

Thanks for watching my videos...Dan on the Provari i can never get any 1.5 DC to go over 4.1 volts..I find the single 1.7 carts can be push up to 4.5+ with no error. Don't forget to start off low. I start a new carto at 3.5 to 3.7 volts and bump it up slow. after about 10 hits a 3.7 i go o 3.8 or 3.9 then 4.0 you get the idea. I find this breaks in the carto. also the tank replacement carts work great in BDV cartos..got a review of them up on my page.

looks like they are punch at the manufacturer and with the ring on the end..not bad for 2.29 for one. also if someone like me that has egos laying around that i tend to lend out to people wanting to try out a ecig i can now just give them one of the prepunch carto with ring on the end and not worry about the tank going down on the ego..ego+cheap tank+ them cartos= easy to turn a smoker into a vapor junkie like me lol..
