So I just joined this forum to say that it has been once month since i quit smoking and started vaping and i didn't even break once to have a cigarette. My only issue is i really haven't saved any money yet cause i kind of went on a buying spree of buying equipment lol, I'm now hopefully content with my mvp and aerotank and innokin clk with a mini aerotank and my kayfun clone a family member has ordered for me. I did buy an encore kit which was ok
At first but wasn't compatible with any other tank and an ego -c which was ok. So for tho my vapemate app tells me im still in the hole about 150$ lol but i feel better so im ok with that

Welcome and congratz on a month smoke free, you will spend a bunch initially but that will stop one you find whats best for you. We have all been there I still spend way to much but I am intrigued with new gear and even gear I don't own I just want to check it out. I still have a wish list a mile long, but its getting smaller.

I'm just under a month and we mirror each other.thing is,after we start, the research starts, and if you're like me,you quickly learn/yearn for better almost right away.I like the early stages of new things.Keep up the good work on not smoking. Its funny,I really don't miss even at stressful times at work.

Congratulations!! And welcome!!
Like most, I spent a bunch of money in the first couple of months; batteries, different and numerous tanks, DIY equipment, flavorings, wire, etc. Hopefully, things are starting to settle down a little now. I have one more "big" purchase that I am considering and that should be it for awhile.

Welcome! I have to giggle slightly at the "shiny-itis" I'm 3 months in, and I'm still subject to it, although I'm pushing more toward "even money" since I've slowed down (or made smaller/less-frequent purchases) :D

I'm trying not to compare cigarette $$$ to vaping $$$ - I just know that I'm not smoking any more, and I feel strongly that I'm all the better for it.

I just "splurged" on a kayfun clone, and if that goes well, I'll look for a better mod later this summer. I'm cruising with a couple MVPs and VV3s (although I did just humor myself with a couple eGo micros :) They're pretty adorable and make great "commuting vape" devices. Let's me save my bigger boys for work and home.

Yeah the only other thing im thinking about purchasing would be a mechanical mod clone to go with the kayfun i have coming, but i think im gonna try to hold off on that for awhile , I am actually really surprised with the performance of the innokin clk and aerotank mini combo thats what i use out at the bar and what not. The aerotank i have with the mvp is nice to especially with the new style atomizers kanger released with mini and mega it was a noticeable difference in my opinion but im sure the kayfun will take its place for what i hear a out it

Congrats! I haven't saved much money either - I seem to have to try all the juices. I just pulled the trigger on a Reo, in order to taste them better. Maybe I should justify it as my 8 month anniversary present:p

I will bet that you will LOVE your Reo! I love mine. It was a one year smober present from people in a forum I frequent. Could not afford one myself...but so glad there are such wonderful people out there.

Anyway, Congratulations to all the quitters on here! I think it is awesome how many people have used vaping to stop smoking.

Please, Please, help protect our right to vape! Join CASAA. There is a thread for it on ECF. It is free although contributions/donations are welcome. They are fighting for us to keep the FDA etc. from regulating our vape gear and liquid. It is looking pretty grim from the deeming they published...gotta fight the good fight on this one folks!

Vape On!

congrats... at some point you will find your spot and you will save money most of that comes from making your own juice or ordering in bulk once you find a good flavor you like. spending on new mods will always be tempting..i got the bug for a DNA 30 mod..XPV.. friday im dropping the 225 and it wont be shipped for 30-35 busisness days..lol

Congrats ! I'll only be two weeks off this week-end, but it has never ever been easier. You've done the hardest part (though, beware of the 3 months mark).

I have shiny-itis too, though I suspect it's going to slow down fast, as I have too much stuff and have found a somewhat-satisfying setup. Only a couple of aerotank minis to buy and I'll be all set up. Juices, though......... they're an entirely different matter
