Hey all!
Was really kicking around buying one of these. Looked on Craigslist today and found a 2.5 black/red fade with an 18650 cap for $60! Ill never look back.
Question, I have a kayfun. What ring would be best to flush mount it? Do the rings fit over the existing top or does the current ring come off?

ProVari makes a ring of their own. Not specifically made for the KayFun, but they do have them in Black which should go well with your mod.

They gave that thing away. Either it was hot or they really needed the money. Great find.

As far as the ring I will tell you that the Provape ring does not allow a Kayfun to sit totally flush. There is a 1mm gap. Doesn't bother me that much. Plenty of good info in the thread that was linked above.

I didn't laugh at them. I just didn't understand the concept of paying that much. I'm one of them now defending paying that much. LOL

I would keep the 2.5 and save for the vapor shark, so you will have some thing to fall back on in case something breaks. You know always have back ups.

I also agree the "Kayfun Cone" is the best "fit" for a Russian or Kayfun. Other rings are sometimes a touch too "short or tall"...
They used to have them on VapeRev, now I'm not sure where to get one.
Maybe post a "wanted" in classifieds if you can't find it - they are "around"!!

Always helps to have a few different devices just in case. But I will say my Vaporshark gets so much more use than my Provari.
