Yep. It's been 100 days since I've had a cigarette. I am pretty jazzed. It's a wonderful success story and a testament to just how fantastic vaping is as a cessation method. Regardless of the BS they propagate, vaping WORKS.

I did have an interesting craving the other day after work. As if I was only a few days clean or something, I got in the car after work and thought I would reach for a cigarette in my purse, and light it. Just old, stale thinking still stuck in my brain cells. When I realized how silly that was, I laughed out loud. No cigarettes have been in my purse for 100 days! But my brain still falls back to the old memory of it when I'm not... thinking.

And that's OK.

Because when I am thinking, I could care less about cigarettes anymore. Don't miss 'em - don't want 'em.

Keep calm and vape on.

Woo hoo! I'm on day 96, and still have 'moments' as well. A couple smokers were trying to find cancer sticks to bum today at work - I almost told them that I could spare a few. Um...no, I can't! LOL

There are alot of people that walk past the house everyday. Walking is big in this town. There was this one old man that would see me outside smoking and bum a cig every now and then. A few weeks ago he rang the bell to see if he could bum one and make sure I was ok since he hadn't seen me outside in awhile. I actually almost felt bad telling him I didn't smoke anymore. I gave him a NJOY King I had lying around though. LOL

Congratulations and well done! I haven't been on here in a while, but it's good to sign on and read some success stories. I just hit my year mark. I think it's akin to a miracle the benefit vaping has had on my life, and what it's done for so many people who may, like me, have thought that they were cursed for life. I don't know if I'll ever quit vaping (although I'm down to around 3mg of nicotine per milliliter), but I don't feel like I'm poisoning myself or letting myself down in some way when I vape. Although my mod collection is now a stark reminder that I've spent a small fortune on vaping, I don't feel the slightest bit of guilt about that. Anyway, this thread is your story, not mine, so I will just echo my opening statement and say congratulations and well done not only to the OP, but to everyone else here as well. If you're reading this, chances are you should be proud of either your success or your progress.

Same here - I've spent way too much, but I don't care a bit. I love vaping, shopping, collecting, decorating, experimenting, mixing, tinkering - everything about the experience. Congrats on your year!!
