Shocking! So, there's no one right way, and different strokes for different folks rules? Thank you for this info Vapoor Eyes, I think it helps the OP to get a more accurate picture about the use of PG and VG.
Maybe this helps a little for OP.
juice Components
Flavoring usually about 3- 15%- could be higher or lower depending on the flavor used.
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like - many of us believe PG to be a throat irritant.
VG= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG. Many are lately moving towards a 50/ 50 ratio as they find it smoother.

Also, I want to congratulate you for the outstanding work you have done and are doing with your non-profit. It's truly amazing how many people you have helped.
A few yrs ago I asked my wife what she saw as my weakness. She answered that my biggest weakness was also my greatest strength- too much passion and becoming overly committed to causes but she accepts and understands where I'm coming from. She does the bookkeeping for the non profit so it's a family affair  Our credo in life- what ya get is what ya give.

I also want to thank you for helping me this last year. Your fair and impartial reviews have helped me in my vaping, and kept me off smoking, a priceless gift!
Coming from you that just blows me away...thinkin' maybe the student has become the teacher as I've learned so very much from you and I'm so very grateful for that.

The day that you stop frequenting ECF will be a very sad one for me as you're just an outstanding member of ECF and and, simply put, a good soul.
Off to install my winter tires...guessing you don't have that problem :D Should be interesting with my broken toe

Cheers and have a GREAT day.

Sorry to hear about the broken toe, my friend. Your words are too kind and appreciated. I have no plans to leave ECF anytime soon, and I'm more committed to vaping and helping others than ever before. Yes, there are many good souls doing some great work on ECF, helping so many to quit smoking via vaping, a priceless gift for us all....hopefully, a long and productive life now! It doesn't get much better than that. And don't you go anywhere either! We need you. All the best!

Thank you kindly Bad and it really means a lot coming from someone whom I respect, admire and appreciate.
A number of "acquaintances"/ not friends have suggested I could've made a small fortune becoming a Vendor...they just don't get it and that's why they'll always be "acquaintances".

That, and as soon as you tie business into anything, it loses it's purity and luster.

As usual, I seem to get in at the end of some of these threads ( probably a good thing). I know the tread is winding down, but just wanted to say Bill, Vapoor eyes er, Katya, Bad.... great info as usual. I too am a follower of all of your sage advice. I will always feel like a newbie when it comes to you folks.

I DIY my juice (thanks to Bill) and mix for others as well. I have a sister in law that has to have mostly PG due to alleries. I have a daughter that has to have mostly VG (due to asthma).. I dont claim to understand it, but it works for each of them.

The leakage and gurgling was more prevalent with my Sister in law due to the thin juice, but with extra cotton above the coil and a slower vaping technicque... Its all good. I wouldnt have known how to perform this work around without the help of these members here. Im just not that smart ( but Im working on it).

Pascloud: I think your on the right track. More PG and less nic will get you there. Just experiment. You will find your happy place...we all do.

No, No, No...I always see your posts and don't even bother to add my :2c: as you've already covered all bases and not a "new vaper" to me but a solid member of ECF that has lots to give other members
Shouldn't sell yourself short as I certainly don't my friend.

Not only are you not a noob, Mr. Bond, but an experienced vaper in both gear and juice. I do happen to know all about this and your contributions are most excellent, you are very much a great asset to ECF, and I count you among my friends, and appreciate your support. All the best!

That's just plain WRONG, I've been vaping 100% PG for 4 years now and have had fewer of those problems than using PG/VG mixes. I've tried the VG trip and all it did was cause problems, anytime I use more than 20% VG I get a heavy feeling in my chest and can't stop coughing. Plus sticking with PG my cartos last a lot longer and I don't have to clean my tanks out as often. And all the studies that's proven ecigs are safe, are done with PG, not VG, no one knows what VG will do to you. All your doing is spewing the ignorant fabrications from people on here who don't know how to do research.

With all the love going on in here, I won't fully express my opinion regarding what I've quoted above. I will say that I do take umbrage with anyone saying that Bill is "spewing the ignorant fabrications" on the forum, that said individuals must be new AND hasn't read anything here on ECF on how Bill's helped out TONS of folks since he's been on here. Bill is normally one of the FIRST people on here to welcome new folks, offer encouragement AND sound advice based on lots of reading and research.

I'm happy that he was there to help me out and listen when I joined ECF, and glad that I too count him as a friend here.

Thank you ever so much for the too kind words, my friend. I sincerely appreciate them. Yes, we all have our moments, our days, do we not? I'm just glad the OP did finally get some good advice and encouragement from the many members here who contributed. Vaping is so wonderful when it allows us to quit the analogs, and very much may save our lives in the process. A priceless gift from many generous and good souls. You are an asset to the forum, my friend, and I thank you! All the best!

    No you can't
Honestly, I almost feel ready to take out a Winston Light (still have a full pack that I was hoping to keep for years and years). Just to get that satisfaction.

Honestly, I'm glad I got rid of those Winston Light that I had around for years and years no good could can come from having them in my house.

    Fix your post

Very first thing I suggest and hope you do right NOW or soon as you finishing reading my great and terrific post throw those Winston Light out of your house and reach forever NOW! I’ll wait until you come back la da la da la da la da oh your back.
Since I know you’re One of those SMART ATTRACTIVE X-Winston Girls you could pick up some RY4 or Double RY4 tobacco type juice and a eye dropper add 1 drop at a time to your juice this might satisfy you with need for tobacco that is one of my problems also well that and the desire for menthol.

As for me it's the flavor not as much as the nicotine that satisfy me. The nicotine is the addiction part from years of smoking.

I increase nicotine when I found myself wanting to vape more and more like how we use to reach for a stinky .... and light it up. I try to get to the point right below that level and add just a little more nicotine to my juice because it is addicting.

I vape with 80% PG I'm going to go to 100% soon as I use up the Nicotine with 100% VG. I have on hand and re-order. I'm to cheap to throw it out so I'm hoping I can get away with it for now. I discovered six months into vaping VG gives me health issues acts like a laxative on me couldn't even go out of my house until I discovered on my own what was going on and I didn't give up and you don't have to also.

This vapeing thing is a learning curve hang in there your find what works for you and your be a very happy and health person with lots of extra money in your pocket and no more stinking tobacco smelling cloths.

Do the happy :rickroll: your not lighting up those stinking cig butts and your cloths smell so fresh.

Being a newbie is truly a series of trial and errors! I got my set of juices today from MVB and tried the 100% PG one 6mg. It was like water pouring out of the bottle (ok, a little exaggeration) and where I thought the lack of vapor wouldn't bother me....It did! It was barely there. Seems like more came out of the mouthpiece than my exhale, after pulling. I did try different voltages on my twist. So I've come to the conclusion that I WANT IT ALL. Low nic, Big TH, lots 'o vapor and ALL Flavors. So after this 3rd vape mail...I can tell I get closer to finding my favorite mix. Good news though - tinnitus is easing. Not sure if it's because I'm getting used to it being louder or because it really isn't increasing as much anymore. So, I think I can go back to 12mg and 50/50 or 75/25. On to keep trying! At least I'm having fun doing it...though the nic fits get to me sometimes...if that's what they are. lol.

You can get big clouds w/ PG only using RBA. Yes, clouds are much easier and bigger w/ the VG.
