100 Years: back or foward

If you could spend just a single day, either 100 years in the past- or 100 years in the future: what would you choose?

In both cases you wouldn´t understand what is happening around you.

Can't I do both? I love history. I have hundreds of channels and all I watch is Discovery and History. So going back would be great seeing the begining of America's hayday just before the world wars and prohibition the expansion of our country through the birth of new technologies. That being said I am also a huge geek and I would love to go forward in time and see some Star Trek action going on.
