Teeto, awesome! ... sure thought you were about to give in. Glad to hear you didn't. Now, isn't it about time, you get yourself a banner for the countdown (up)? One day short of celebrating 2 weeks really calls for one.

I had one when I first started vaping (just clicked on the sig of one in a thread that I liked to get my own) and it just felt dang good to look at it and see the numbers go up.

If the cravings don't go away, even after weeks without an analog...if you find yourself anxiously craving something you can't put your finger on, and you are vaping very high nic juice like crazy...

Look at Whole Tobacco Alkaloid juice. It's not for everyone. If you can get over that hump, and run clean on straight nic all the time and be happy, then this isn't worth doing.

I only vape a few drops of it per day. The anxiety and the cravings disappear.

Teeto nice job!

I was a 2 pack a day Marb Red for 30 years.
I knew just cutting down would not work for me. It was either "All or Nothing"..

"All or Nothing" types can't sneak an analog here and there to get past the cravings. Tough it out for five minutes, and win for the long haul!

I vaped 100% for 34 months, relapsed after I had a back injury and couldn't work out, and regret the relapse every day!
Stay strong, and the cravings/triggers will diminish. Stress is a huge trigger, and maybe you need to find additional solutions to get through those times. I go walk my dog. By the time we get back, my world is round again. :)

On an upnote, package from Madvapes with a bunch of goodies, is helping curb it some......still there tho :(

I am on day 5. Guys you are scaring me! I have switched from 2 packs a day to zero after my first vape. For me there is no craving, yet. Maybe because I smoked light cigarettes (in my country we have the so called 'lights' analogs, with low nicotine and tar). I am using an Ego-C with 16 mg VG liquids. So far I done good. I even went to a pub, I had coffee. No more than 1 second craving. I am just vaping when I feel it. Maybe it's a good idea to try and stay far away from other smokers.

Have you tried high voltage? That's what did it for me. Maybe a 5 volt mod (6 volts was a little much for me). Two weeks into 100% vaping I had an analog cuz I thought I wanted one, it was terrible! Not saying that is how it would be for you but that was long enough for me to detox from 2 PAD. Good Luck!

I have been vaping one month now. I decided to keep my cigarettes just in case I wanted one. That has happen a four times. So I just smoke one. I haven't wanted one for almost two weeks now. I say just smoke if you want to . If you deprive yourself, you will just be angry. Another option is to use less nicotine, like 18 mg., and just chain vape.
Good luck!

When I first started vaping about 4 months ago, I spent the first month trying it out and taking little tests. My tests would be, when I get home from work I will only vape for the rest of the night or I wont have an analog until after lunch or I'll only vape in the car. If I didn't succeed I would just try again the next day. What I discovered was the kit I got didn't have enough kick for me. I did a lot of reading and bought a gogo and strong tobacco flavored juice. I found that with the better equipment and juice I was able to pass tests with ease. When I was comfortable with vaping I just woke up one day and said, "No analogs today only vaping". I've now been smoke free for 3 months and haven't looked back. I've also gotten some awesome mods like a Reo Grande and a GLV2 that have made vaping awesome. I tried a drag of an analog a couple of weeks ago after partaking in a few(I use that term loosely) drinks, it was horrible. I told my friend he can keep his nasty cigs I'm going back to my English toffee. Now he has been smoke free for 2 months.
Stick with it and try different stuff!

I had this same issue about two weeks in. I didn't quit smoking cold turkey, I just kinda weened off without noticing. About a week later, the cravings hit, and hit hard. I still had analogs in the house, but was told to change up my flavors, (but not to up the nic), which I did. It did wonders. I found that hitting it a few more times in the morning or after eating, (when my cravings were stronger) eased it, also. Good luck. :)

There are 10 addictive chemicals in tobacco. All work together in a symbiotic relationship to keep you addicted. Nicotine is the most addictive, and the quickest excreted from the body. Half life on nicotine in the blood stream is 1/2-1 hour. This is what makes you smoke alot of cigarettes, to keep that level high. The other chemicals are excreted much slower, but you will have withdrawals none the less. It will take 14 days to 3 weeks to get those chemicals out of the body AND to rewire your brain to not think it needs them. Having an occasional smoke to increase these other chemicals can help... Just make a conscious effort to use your e cig for the most part. Cravings will diminish over time.

I knew there was something I was withdrawing from when I switched to vaping. The first few days were the worst, not that it was ultra hard or anything but my body was withdrawing. I had headaches, insomina and this "feeling" that something was missing and I couldnt put my finger on what it was. I was getting the hand to mouth, I was getting the nic...what is this???? I said outloud, "ok there is something else in cigarettes thats addictive!" The sad part is I dont even know what that is. Its getting better now ( 3 weeks today). The only thing I feel sometimes is like a sadness sort of thing , like " i miss cigarettes :(" but its short lived and few and far between. Its not a craving at all...kinda weird. I hope that goes away. Vaping really fills my need, I enjoy it so much! If you know what the 10 chemicals are , Id love to know.

vape on...:)

This should be a stickie. What a great post. Just curious how you know this; are you in a medical profession? That's interesting about the 14 days. I started vaping a month ago. After 2 weeks I stopped having an occasional cigarette. Just didn't feel the need for them. That corroborates your statements.

I haven't really craved an analog since I started vaping a few weeks ago, but yesterday I was walking down a busy shopping area and smelling the cigarette smoke from all of the storefront smokers brought about a really unexpected longing. Then I really imagined smoking a cigarette and I could almost taste the filth.

If you really want one, have one, but I'm betting you won't enjoy it as much as you think. There's nothing wrong with you, you're fighting an addiction. That's never easy. Good luck, my friend.

I disagree. I'm a pack to a pack and a half newport smoker. You do get throat hit and a lot of it and the menthol tones down the tobacco taste. I hate any regular cigarette, they make me sick. But the juices are great. I just have to fight it. I've done this before with e-cigs which is why I jump back and fourth from these forums from the past 3 yrs. Never went more than 3 days before bouncing back and fourth.. 12 days are an accomplishment. No backing down... For now?

EDIT.. NOT AGREE, *DISAGREE

12 days is a great accomplishment. Analogs lie. Don't listen.
