Ohhhhh sure.. now we all have to replace our devices or we'll be behind the curve and suffer from a divide between he haves and the have nots.. just what we need.. a voltage gap.
First we'll be vaping at 110v/6000 watts with all new equipment.. then we'll be enticed with the new 220 volt stuff, then 440.. where will it all end??? <sigh>

I thought that there might be some sort of device other than a usb pass through. Was hoping for something a little more durable that was obviously stepped down from 110v but could plug into the wall directly. Looks like I might have to.do one of those wall wart mods.

There is a pass-through made by a guy on reddit that a few people have. It's called the NK Mod. It's a box mod powered by a regulated computer power source. It supplies constant 5.5V at 10A max for a possible 55W. It is not commercially available, as he's taking orders in threads and is in the process of sending out the 2nd batch now. The list price this batch was $80-90 shipped depending on options.
I believe this will be the first of many options in a format like that and will be the future of high-watt vaping on rebuildables. I hope to see something like this commercially available next year, the community really needs it. It takes battery charging and safety concerns out of the equation totally, which is all everyone's talking about these days.

Many people are using CPU power supplies to get a constant 5v power supply and using custom wired 510 connectors. I have one in the works for at home vaping. I have seen the USB 510 connectors in one that you can buy a wall plug for and an extended usbFemale-usbMale cable and the same USB510 connector to make it work. I am looking to do similar for while at home and save batteries.
I've seen several of the cpu power supply Setups. I guess I'm kinda looking something a little more asthetically pleasing or unique than the avg mod that uses cpu power supply. I might have to order a few things and head out to the garage for a few hours. I've already got a few ideas that I want to try.

My hybrid Car has a 150 volt battery, using my .5 ohm build I am producing 45,000 watts. Only problem is that a one second vape atomizes a gallon and half of juice, used up a six month supply in one vape. Wasn't worth it imo. Great vape though, and I think I saw god, but my vision was so blurry that I couldn't be sure.
