?? (unless there is something brand new) The BB is designed for a 14500 battery.
Originally, long long ago, the bottom was long enough to alternatively accomodate 2 x CR3s.
Then there was all this stuff with unprotected, stacked batteries blowing up and the bottom was shortened to only accomodate 1x14500.
Some time after that the bottom was again lengthened to accomodate 2 x CR3s (and there are/were protected 3.0v ones available).

I don't believe 14650s were ever supported or in plan. AltSmoke has always advocated against the use of unprotected batteries and against 6v (stacked solutions).

We did do a few bottoms that accomodate the 146550. It started out as a custom request, we made a couple dozen to "test" the waters. My UK distributor has them and has told me they are not moving. These bottoms also fit a certain green battery that requires a speacial charger.

Did you mean 14650?

I just ordered the long bottom for the bb yesterday morning, and got the shipping notice before dinner time yesterday.Hopefully the 14650 size batteries that I already have will work in it.
they are the 5v(approx.)for the mako sold by electronicstix. As they will work in the omega and silver bullet(yes,I tried it,and they work fine),they should work in the BB/w extended bottom. The biggest drawback is battery life vs the 18650,the biggest + is 5v without stacking.

I am pretty sure that the lithium-ion 14650 is a 3.6/3.7v battery, unless it is some other type of battery.

How do you get 5v with a BB with 1 battery?

Get the longer bottom for the BB from altsmoke,5v nimh batteries from electronicstix
Viola,5v BB-no cr2's,no lr atty's,great vapor(in the silver bullet,ain't got the long bottom yet,it's in the mail)however the battery is only 400mah,so it don't last like a 14500+ battery. I get around
4 hrs. before I need to change one.
Oh yeah-the 5v battery is the same size as a 14650.
