15 + 15 = 27???

I'm confused by sale e-mail. It states the following discounts:

15+15=27%

15+20=32%

15+29=40%

I am a product of a USA education but that does not add up to even me.

Soooooooooo......what are the total discounts for the current sale?

The discounts are deducted individually. It's the same way my work does our pay scale, first they take 15% off the price, then another 15% so $100 goes down to $85 then another 15% takes it down to 72.25

Hi Nwit. It's like this:

An eGO kit retails for $55.95
Everything is on sale for 15% off so the price is now $47.56
With the "TAX10" You save an additional 10% off on that $47.56 ($4.76 in savings). Now the price is $42.80

55.95-42.80 = 13.15
13.15/55.95 = 23

So roughly you save 23%


This is how we got those numbers. I hope this helps.
