Just got a text from my daughter that they've reached Donner Pass and it is snowing and the roads are slushy. I told her to start sizing up her travel companions based on nutritional value.....just in case.

Awww, our Hand Chick is now Both Hands Chick! The doggies are adorable, too! And you make me really want to organize my box of DIY, lol. I have a huge toolbox that has some of my supplies and a cardboard box with flavors in it, but I am really getting the feeling that it's time for them to get their own home.

So my daughter has made it to San Francisco. 9 days of driving.

9 days of driving and a lifetime of memories! I'm glad she made it there safe and sound. Now daddy can relax just a little bit.

The ones calling me for the past 2 weeks at 6 am don't care. The're telemarketers! Accidentally dropped an F bomb on the one this morning and he threw it back at me! If you can speak English well enough to try and sell my 19-year-old son a personal loan you should be able to understand "Do Not Call registry" and "FCC," no? Argh.

I've been getting telemarketing calls almost on a daily basis for the past 3 or 4 weeks. They always come in the afternoon, they come from the same area code and same exchange, but the last 4 digits change. I've answered a few times and they are calling about different things, either a "free" vacation or a warranty for my car. I've learned and stopped answering calls coming to me from Colorado (area code 720, exchange 639). I can't block the number because the number keeps changing.
