A couple on the prize thread have really kind of given up on winning. Some were under the impression that the Augst 12th winners were strictly points related from social networks and others seemed to think that because ECF has a couple of hundred thousand members that the chances were slim.

That in no way represents active members. (or how many on ECF entered the contest)That represents every member that has ever joined LOLOL.
When I checked the stats this morning.. there were 1445 people here of those 300 were guests and 45 were bots.
I am guessing that is a pretty accurate idea of how many members are typically here.
Of those I am sure that not every single person entered. (for various reasons)

And don't forget. Every one who has won a Disrupter through the quick draws are disqualified from the drawing for the remaining Disrupters, although they can still qualify for the grand prize.

A miracle has occurred!!!!!! The tank originally out for delivery on THURSDAY has arrived!!!! The 2 tanks from Doc were marked as "out for delivery" this morning, but no sight of them. Ahhhhh...one is better than none!!!

I agree I do not understand how people can complain and whine about a "giveaway". I am always so happy to just get a chance to win. Sometimes I feel bad for the vendors that have to put up with people whining about the entry rules or other stuff. Of course there are contests that I do not take part in if they involve twitter or similar, but I do not get upset just because i cannot enter due to not using twitter and others. I just feel bad when I have seen people giving contest vendors a hard time.....
(just incase someone outside of our little family reads that, No I am not talking about anyone here in particular.... I am just saying in general. I wanted to make that clear so nobody yells! Lol)

I agree. It's free stuff, not everyone will always win. I think back to Field Day in elemtary school.1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners got ribbons....not everyone went home with one. I'm sorry, I don't believe in this new era of entitlement where all kids go home with trophies. If you wanna give trophies to a winning team, fine, then give out certificates of participation if you want. But not everyone gets a trophy. A friend of mine was complaining about that the other day, her grand daughter plays soccer. After the last big game in the tournament, the winning team got trophies, the next 2 teams got ribbons. The rest of the kids got nothing. She was whining that all the kids should have gotten a trophy. Why?????

^^^^ this happened over on the Thailand vapers forum for the heaven gifts contest.
They couldn't reach the numbers needed to finish their FIRST round. Someone in the heavens gift contest thread here posted about it, a number of us went over their, got their numbers up, first round ended, one of their normal members won, but their was nothing but complaints about us being there, and now for the second round (same contest, same time period, that we are on round 5 of ), no one without a Thai address is allowed to enter......i told them it would be one thing if it was a contest run by their forum, but since it's not, and we were asked over, their decision was pretty stupid, then wished them luck on actually finishing round two, while we work on round 5 with a 6th likely
