I have a cigar box that I stash away juice in the dark corners of a cool closet. I have numerous NT's venom hibernating away. I broke out several bottles, Raz, CLS and CB dated 4/16 or there about. I have a little left of those 3 flavors from the same batch that I have been using up until now. I used the 3 flavors to compare. All bottles are 50ml. I am blown away by how the bottles that have not been touched now taste even better then the same batch and same date juice that I have been vaping. I am thinking this is do to the bottles I have been using have been exposed to a lot more air from the constant opening and closing. As far as light, not so much as I keep them enclosed in a small carry bag unless filling an ecig.

The Raz has really taken on a great new flavor. The raspberry has settled down and the cupcake is perfect. The current bottle that I have been tapping tastes great, but just not as good. Same dates. I am wondering if I am better off spending the extra cash in the future and purchase 15ml bottles. It is amazing the difference.

The main difference between the hibernation bottles and the current used bottles is the smoothness. Probably something to do with the nic breaking down. But I urge everyone to take a full bottle out of the mail and put it away for 6 weeks or more.

Not really. The problem is the air getting into the 50ml over the course of vaping it. I get about 6 weeks out of a 50ml do to all the flavors I vape. All the exposure to air and light is keeping the juice from really shining. I would rather have 6 15ml, so that I would have a crisp clean bottles not being exposed to air.

Don't get me wrong, NT's juice is leaps and bounds above all others I have tried. All his juices get better with time, including opened juice. But the juice that is left untapped for 6 weeks or greater really shines.

Just how much air and light is a bottle exposed to in the few seconds it takes to fill a tank?

A lot. Oxygen anyway. Every time you turn it over to fill a tank or drip, oxygen is circulated. As the bottle depletes, the more oxygen in the bottle.

Just like wine.

I would not of believed the difference, but having the same juice, from the same batch but one never opened or exposed to light, there is a very noticeable taste and color difference.

I do that with 50's. I plan my purchases so I have a month or more steep time before I crack it open based upon my normal consumption rate.

I do not do this with the Virus on purpose. I never have a problem vaping it FOOB. The desserts always have a decent steep.

I guess it's because I have one juice I vape all day that this works for me. I go through a 50ml of GCD a week so I always have bunches steeping as I love GCD at no earlier than four months. But as sc said just buy some empty 15ml bottles and keep them on hand! :thumb:

I do something similar. I almost never have 50ml bottles laying around uncapped... I almost always use 15ml bottles. D2G bottles are great, you can use to dispense the 50ml bottles into, or, if you have a well loved 15ml bottle you can just keep refilling it from the 50s (seed steeping from your oldest batch the whole time!) Great observation!

And you sending out your juice filled to the absolute top also helps!! So little room for air, if at all!!
