Hey everyone, first post here. Have a stock smoktech Sid and saw on vaporkings an 18350 replacement tube. I like the "stealth" or "pocket" idea of a smaller mod for when I'm out and about. Anyone ever picked one up? How compatible are they? Will I need a different end cap? And lastly, button top or flat top batteries? Sorry for the n00b barbardment. Cheers!

if it's the one that smok makes, its a direct replacement, end cap will fit. i know that evic tubes also work but i think you have to take out the plastic thing on top of the tube. as far as batteries, i've only used flat tops on the SiD.

Thanks for the feedback. My 18650's are flat tops. I'm just worried that if the 18350 tube is just a fraction too long, that flattop 18350s may not work correctly.

If you look here

http://www.madvapes.com/18350-battery-tube-for-the-sid.html

You see that you can get an 18350 tube to replace the 18650 tube that comes with the SID. It allows you to use 18350 batteries and makes the mod about 2 inches (5cm) shorter for a stealthier look. Fits nicer in my pocket now, though battery life is shorter. Cheers!
