18490 battery

Hello, I am thinking of adding a second provari the emerald green has caught my eye I own a provari mini now and like it very much I like the size of the standard size without the 18650 extension I am just wondering how long the 18490 battery will last The 18350 I use in my mini go for about 4 to 5 hours thanks for the help

It isn't Exact. But doing a Ratio would give you a Ballpark idea of how long an 18490 would last.

If a 18350 has 700mah which gives you about 4.5 hours of Use. And an 18490 has 1,100 mah.

Then:

700mah / 4.5 Hours = 1,100mah / X

=> 700 * X = (1,100 * 4.5 )

=> X = (1,100 * 4.5 ) / 700

=> X = 4,950 / 700

=> X = 7.0714

So you should be able to use a 18490 for about 7 Hours before you need to Charge it.

I know it's an extra $20, but I love my mini with an extension cap a LITTLE more than I love my standard.
(both being 18490 setups).

Why?
a) I just think it looks sharp with the matching colored cap.
b) You've got more flexibility - you'd be able to use the new one as 18350 OR 18490. Can't go smaller with a standard.

Also, Z-man's math looks good, so it might be imagination, but I feel like I get more like almost double the vape time on an 18490 than an 18350...

Either way, that green is SHARP looking - enjoy it!

I like a Mini with an Extension Cap better than a Regular Provari.

Another thing I forgot to mention is If a person is not Pushing the Amps very hard, the can use an AW 18500 IC instead of a 18490 IMR to pick out a Couple Hundred more mah.

This is not a mathematical calculation but on 1.8-2.2ohm coils at 4 volts; I get from 5p to 5p the next night (including sleep of course) on a 18490.

However, dual coil dripper at 5 volts and 1.5 ohm; I get about 5 hours.
