18650 Battery For VaporShark

Hi All,

Which battery would you recommend as a backup for my VaporShark rDNA 40 V2? Should I go with the one it came with which is the LG 2500 mAh 35A or a Efest Purple 18650 2500mAh IMR 35a battery or a Samsung 25R 2500mAh.
I will be mainly sub ohming.

The LG in it is fine. That LG is actually only a 20A battery. The search button will confirm this. The Efest Purple is the LG HE2 in most cases. It is just re wrapped into a purple wrapper and is still only 20A. Efest lied about the specs. The Samsung is a great battery and is on par with a Sony VTC5. If you are sub ohming with nickel you really don't need more then a 20 amp since it is regulated. You could try a Sony VTC4 but it only has 2100mah but is a 30A battery. Make sure you buy your batteries from a reputable dealer such as Orbtronix, RTD Vapor, Illum, and Lightning Vapes has some Sony VTC4's and Samsung, Efest too. I took my LG out of mine and swapped a Samsung 25R in it becasue the + and - symbols on the battery annoyed me.

Thanks for that info. Does the Samsung 25R last any longer in the VS?

It lasts about the same time. I get a full day out of mine. Depends on how you vape
