Sorry guys, need some help. Running on single IMR 18650 2000mah 3.7V 7.4WH on mech with 0.2 ohms. Recommended? Because it tends to heat up whole mech very quickly. Some how the ohms law says 0.4-0.5 is good. But flavour is BLEH!Tried 0.5 ohms as well. It's a whole lot of less flavour & "haze" compensation for heat reducing. Just wanna know will it BOMBA if its okay with 0.2ohms, don't mind charging batt regularly as well.

Specifically, which battery are you using?

If you don't mind swapping/charging more often then the HB4 or HB6 will run cooler than any other battery and can easily handle 0.2 ohms.

Don't really know the brand. Never stated anything except IMR 18650 2000mah 3.7V 7.4WH on the batt. It's red in colour and made in china hahah will consider changing :) Thanks mooch :)

That could be a very low amp rated battery, only suitable for use in a laptop or flashlight. Its voltage is probably plummeting when you use it and heating up the battery very quickly because it's being used so far beyond its rating. I highly recommend switching batteries immediately.

Understood Mooch. Will get it changed asap. Did a check on my nitecore charger when it's 20% its voltage is only 3.3.
I believe my current setting is at this.
    watts : 22
    volts : 3.7
    amps : 6
    ohms : 0.6
6 is low for fu mech?
Really thank you for your help mooch

Sorry, I missed seeing your question. I don't understand what you're asking though.

Hey mooch, today I mistakenly bought Basen 3500 mah 10 amp continuous. Your graph only shows one of the Basen batteries. What are your opinions on the ones mentioned? I usually vape .4 ohms around 60 watts.

At 60W you'll be pulling up to 18A-19A from that battery. Its performance is going to be lousy at that high a wattage and its run time shortened considerably due to the huge voltage sag. HG2's would last longer.

So do you think using them in a single 18650 regulated mod, on .5 coil at 30 watts OK? I still use a subtank mini as well on a Cloupor 50w.

You have to run the numbers...

Max Amps = Wattage / Min Battery Voltage

Most reg mods have a 3.2V minimum but check yours to be sure.
