18650 cell question (not vape related, but need HELP)

I have a Hitachi cordless 18v 1.5AH tool kit. It has 5 INR18650PB1 batteries inside it. I need to replace the cells. I would like to replace with at least equal, but prefer a little better AH without harm to tool or charger or Me. If I could be linked to a safe replacement I would appreciate it very much. I do have experience soldering circuit boards. Trusty vendors only Please.
I never thought vaping would be educational in so many different areas, but it is.

You have several Options to use like Sony VTC3 (1600 mAh), Samsung INR18650-15L, but you can replace the batteries also to higher capacity like Sony VTC4, or Samsung INR18650-20R.
Please be sure, that the PCB on your Hitachi allows such replacements. Many manufacturer use PCB that so called "erase it-self", when you try to do that.

For the cost of the batteries, the shipping, the labor & the time involved... why not just buy a new battery pack and avoid wasting money on something that may not work right? I'm sure not gonna tell you anything is safe putting an out of spec battery into an unknown charging system.

P.S. You don't solder onto batteries - you tack weld.
