I'm looking for input on this specific battery for my new Sig 150. I purchased them based on the 2800mAh rate based on the capacity rather than the discharge rate as I'm not into sick builds. I'm using an Atlantis v2 at a lowest of .3 ohm. My question really is would any of the other batteries such as 25r or vt4/5 be a better and safer choice. I'm looking at more runtime as opposed to more power. Thanks.:)
Specifications:
Typical Capacity: 2800 mAh
Nominal Voltage: 3.7V
Discharge End Voltage: 3.0V
Standard Charging Current: 1.5A
Charging Voltage: 4.20+-0.05V
*Max. Continuous Discharging Current: 35A
*Max Pulse Discharge Current: 80A
*Manufacturer reported specifications

BTW, I only purchase from Illumination Supply which I see as a reputable supplier.

That particular battery has been independently been tested as only a 15 - 20 amp CDR, not 35 amp. Efest is notorious for over-rating their battery specs.

Purple Efest Batteries, Not As Advertised

Battery Basics for Mods <--- includes a list of recommended batteries with real specifications, and how to choose a battery depending upon your specific application.

I recommend you use the Sony VTC4 2100mAh 30 amp CDR for your mod and application. It has a true 30 amp CDR. The Sony VTC5 has more mah, but has been tested as only a 20 amp CDR.

I recommend purchasing your batteries at RTD Vapor, Illumn, or Orbtronics so you don't get a fake.

Take Bads advice. Him and Mooch are REALLY in the know about this stuff. What I WILL SAY is that LG and Samsung have just dropped 3000mah cells and personally I dont think a VTC4 is NEEDED in a REGULATED mod. You can EASILY use two of the new Samsung 30Q, NEVER go past the CDR AND get longer run time.
Maybe I should have asked this before I purchased them. Should I return them and get the 30Q? I don't plan on going over 50w, I chose it specifically for the mAh output. I assumed that at .3 ohm it would be within the safe limits.
