18650 Vapor Shark DNA 30

So I've been ridiculously close to ordering one of the new hana clones from elev8. Something that bugs me about them is the fact that they are not using a genuine dna chip. But for $70 it is a steal.

To the point....I've also come close to ordering a vapor shark dna 30. My big problem with that though is the internal 1200 mah lipo battery. So I checked out their fb page and they are saying that this month they will be releasing an 18650 version. This has me excited. Of course it will cost more than the hana clones but it is made by a reputable vendor located here in the states. If something breaks or problems arise, I will be able to contact the vendor and get it fixed here in the states. So my question is has anyone else heard much about the new 18650 vapor shark?

I haven't heard anything about this one either but if they have an 18650 version I will be all over it. Like you, I am not a fan of the lipo battery.

On their fb page some guy asked about when a 18650 version will be coming out for $180-$190....they replied saying it will be out this month. And that was from vapor shark.

Very nice, ever since getting my Reo, I kinda have this little urge for cool little box mods. The vapor shark is one that caught my attention, but the battery life just isnt there for me. An 18650 one would be great.

Or a DNA30 Reo...

Believe someone has done that though

Yeah when I started vaping I thought the box mods, specifically the mvp, were just plain ugly. After purchasing a mvp 2 for $40 and using it for 3 months, I'm now a converted box mod design lover. They just look excellent....sleek, stylish, and plain. Some of the pics in the cana mods thread had me drooling. Right now imo, the cana clones with no logo are the best looking box mods around. But yeah, love the box design.

Can't wait to get my hands on a dna device once I figure out which one I want to go with. A few weeks ago I was debating getting a cheap mech mod like a magneto or some sort of clone but I decided just to save my money and pick up a dna 30 device that takes 18650 batteries.

ouch! you mean the whole 510 cup section is crooked? mounted poorly to the box? that sucks. ...! you know the 510 pin is spring loaded... meaning the pin may look crooked, but once you screw on a atty.. it flattens well against the atty. hopefully, thats just the case, misunderstanding.

In all fairness I'm waiting on VaporShark to respond. I had an issue with the DNA30 and they rectified it. But I think they need to look at QC when shipping stuff like this out.

@Marc411 I thought about it but its not a evol DNA30 in there and call it mental but I can tell the difference. I have a Cana Mod DNA30 and I can tell the difference. Again it might be mental.

can sone please do a test for me? if you have a RDA and max out the dna ( 29 or 30 watts ) how long until you get the dreaded dna reset?

with a new and fresh charged vtc5 my dna resets after about 10 pulls??? then i have to lower the watts some and it will work again for about 5 to 10 pulls??? I feel like i am using a meck mod?? but with me having to drop the wattage rather then the battery slowly dropping?

Curious if the Rdna does this also???

@flyfishsick been vaping it all night and I haven't noticed any issues. Had it set to 30watts.
