Hi Guys~

Firstly, Thanks Nicowolf for the great guide!

Finally i have completed my 1st box mod!

Waited so long to receive my 14500 batteries from DX.
Coincidentally:2cool:, 1 of my 510 normal manual battery died so i liberated the battery connector for this..

Just sharing my inner kid's joy with you guys, altho i know that this is like the 1231453145 times you guys see such topics.

Using it with an LR 510. Vapes like a beast!
Normal atties perform better then my normal batt and USB PT (Using comp) but i feel its negligible..
I think im gonna stick to carrying this around permanently till i get make myself a 5V. Hope the LRs stay strong till then!

I for one don't mind hearing about anyone's first.
Reminds me of my first time, and believe me it was a biggie because I didn't know the first thing about this kind of stuff.
Now! I use my mods 99% of the time.

And GOOD JOB.:toast:

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 useless batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give to thank you.

Thanks jj2!

Reason for me for building this mod is to get away from the lousy battery life on the stock battery, the increase in quality and performance for my LR atty surprised me!

I think im gonna stash away my stock batts and the annoying Life cord (USB PT).. im a free man now! haha...

Batteries was my reason. I like the mods so much better, I've sacrificed working ones.
Now that you have done this, look into making one that uses a Wall Wart to power it----you will love it.

The epoxy looks fine to me. The more the merrier I say. Who cares how it looks, you want it strong. Neat dainty glue jobs will give out.

What kind of tools did you need to build your mod? Did you have to buy anything special to complete this project?

Didnt really get much..

A cheap rotary tool for $20+ USD
soldering kits
got the helping hands tool too just for the kick - Helps a hell lot with 2 additional hands tho. :D
Tweezers and pliers (small ones ones for precision stuffs) < you are not working around a lot of space.. =(

Materials i got will be:
2XAA battery Box
Epoxy
N/O Buttons
14500 Batteries
Battery connectors of whatever Atty you wanna use on it.

Didnt get additional wires because i just reused the one that comes with the box~

I think thats abt it.

Took me only about an hour to set this up.
