I have just rebuilt 2 coils for my evods & both work great. 32g wire wrapped 5 times around 2mm silica wick & a 2mm flavour wick on top. They test at 2.1ohms & produce good vapour & flavour. Currently using riva 1100 battery's, which I'll replace very soon with a vision spinner. Can I ask what benefits I might get by more resistance if I want to experiment with different size coils?

I will be looking build a new coil for my protank mini 2 this week, as it has developed a slightly burned taste after about 1 weeks of vaping. I trust this will bring back the full flavour of the juice.

Hi and welcome to ECF. I have not done any coil building, I wish I had the courage to try it. I have 4 Vision Spinners 1300mah and an MVP2. I love my Spinners and the vv. I also have a couple of Smoktek Winders and do not like them as much. I find the dial on the Winders to be impossible to read at night. I like the feel of the spinners better. Although both brands perform well and hold their charge well after 4 months of use.

Can't wait to get my spinner, guessing it'll enhance my already enjoyable vaping experience. Think the protank mini 2 is going to need rebuilding pretty soon, as just swapped over to that now & it's starting flooding. Strange as I've used it right down to empty several times since having it & no problems. Guess a strip down will sort that out.
