1st rebuildable tank

After purchase of my nautilus, I am ruined for my other tanks. I will be purchasing a rebuildable this coming Friday. I was going for the fogger v4, but found locally the Promethius. Anyone using or have any experience with the promethius? I found a few reviews online, but not many. Help!

The Promethius is a genesis style tank if I'm not mistaken. This means that the deck for the coil is on the top of the device. You mount the coil in top, and extend the wicking down into the tank below. I had a Kraken clone that was a similar set up. These are usually wicked with stainless steel mesh, however you can use cotton if you are so inclined. Unless wicked with stainless steel just right, you may have to tilt the topper in order to juice your coil. Some people don't like to do this. Also, because of the deck being on top, these are more prone to leaking when left on their sides. If you get good enough at it, you can avoid this though. I just gave up and went for the Kayfun style clones. The Fogger is kind of like a Kayfun, with the deck and coil on the bottom.

I would go with a Kayfun, Russian or Fogger v4 for your first entry into rebuildable tank atomizers. They are all very easy to build, and are a joy to vape on. If you go with the Fogger, remember that it's designed for dual coils (though you can theoretically use a single coil on it), so you'll want a mod that is able to heat up all that metal in your coil fast, depending on your build.

I typically run my Fogger at 0.7 ohms on my mechs, since it takes my Provari and Dani a bit to heat the coils up, and I don't have a DNA30 yet.

That was another question I forgot to add is my mod. I am using the VTR and wondered if a mechanical would be better?
The Promethius I looked at today had the coil deck on the bottom I saw the wire mesh wick material and asked if I could use cotton, he said there was no problem with cotton at all. Just mentioned something about trimming and blah blah. I was in a bit of a hurry at this point as it was nearing the end of my lunch break lol. I intend on looking up some youtube vids on it tonight to see what I find. I may just bite the bullet and order a fogger online. I REALLY like the performance on this one (or what I read/viewed online), but was also matched with Prom. for flavor, vape, etc.
