Hey guys and gals!

I'm new to this forum and new to e-cigarettes as well. I was fed up with smoking (only 12 years) and thought I'd give this whole vaporizing thing a shot.

I ordered an electronic cigarette on Monday after a weekend of researching. I was starting from square one, so I had (still have) MUCH to learn. This forum is a bounty of information and helpful people!

I decided on an eGo-T, as I felt the tank system would be easy for a newbie to figure out. It came in the mail today, and I've had a few hours to test it out. Everything about it worked perfectly out of the box! I read through the ENTIRE 280-some page thread on the eGo-T over the past few days, so I had a good idea of what to expect, and how to fix any issues that might arise.

I'm getting a good throat hit (just like analogs actually) thick vapor, and TONS of flavor! I was a little worried about the flavor as many folks said it wasn't that strong. But I got to thinking, maybe the flavor only seems strong to me because I have nothing to compare it too. I've never vaporized before . . . . not an e-cigarette anyway :p , so I really had no idea what to expect in the flavor department. But I've been pleasantly surprised with the whole experience thus far.

Anyway, excited to get to know you guys and fully embed myself into the world of vaping!!

Welcome Reveen, I myself am still a noob to this whole vaping thing but I also have a eGo-T and I love it. You should look into the Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers they have from vapingzone, from the reviews they seem to be the next step for us tankers in terms of vapor and flavor....best part is that they hold 4mls of juice...oh yeah I got the tank because I hate havin to keep droppin juice everytime I wanna vape...in other words kinda lazy..lol.

I'll check it out, thanks! There are still so many accessories/parts that I have no idea how they work! 4mls is quite a bit, that would be nice.

Don't worry about it. If you are liking the flavor, and you are not smoking, the flavor and strength are just right. :)

I think so too. I almost don't want to ever try dripping . . . I feel like I'd spoil myself and want to do it all the time then and not be satisfied with the eGo-T!

Congratulations and Welcome!!

Thanks! Love HP books and movies (even though I'm 28, male, and into bodybuilding, its still awesome to me!)

Hi Reveen! Welcome & I love your enthusiasm! I feel the camaraderie around here has helped me quit 'analog' cigarettes just as much as my vaping equipment.

Great choice on the eGo. Sure, people have their own rubs, but what works for you works for you, and that's the most important thing. Hell, you'll see people who dislike high volt mods, people who swear by low res single-coils vs. their dual coil counterparts...it can be mind-numbing. Fortunately, you've bought into a system that has an enormous ceiling for experimenting. You can try atomizers, cartomizers, tanks, etc. The vaping world is your oyster.

If I may just make a suggestion, I don't know if your eGo-T atomizer is standard or LR (low-resistance), but since you seem to like the tank system so far, picking up a LR atomizer to try with your existing tanks will be a fun, inexpensive experiment. Make sure you pay attention to which type of cartridges you have, Type A is narrower, Type B larger.

I still have my eGo-T LR setup for a few juices that seem to taste brilliant on it.

Have fun and I look forward to hearing more about your adventures!

I agree with everything you said!

Right now its a standard atomizer (type A), but I actually just ordered 2 LR atomizers yesterday (type A) because I wanted to give them a shot. I'm sure I'll like it but I can't imagine more flavor/vapor than I'm already getting!

Good Luck with your Ego-T !!
If you read the whole giant ego-t thread you are TRULY well prepared!!!
I love mine ...I also love many of the other options too.
My advise is to not over think it  If it's working for you...it's Great !!
I think if you approach "vaping" that way you won't get sucked in to the buying frenzy's some go thru
...then again they would not want to but something different is their current set up was Great !
So just think ....you are WAY ahead already !!!
Congrats on your Choice to VAPE !!
And WELCOME to ECF !!

Thanks!!

Believe me, I'd love to dive in a buy a few different PV's right away and use them all . . . BUT I told myself (and my wife, even more importantly) that I would save money this way along with saving my lungs. I'm going to have to exercise some SERIOUS self-control and not buy everything that looks cool to me. I'm one of those "gotta have the latest and greatest phone, computer, gadget, etc." kinda guys, so its going to be tough restraining myself for the sake of my bank account!

LOL

You're right, I'm sure my opinion will change at some point too. I'm just hoping I can hold out for a long time before I start upgrading like crazy! I'm obsessed like that.

You're already one step ahead of the game! Good stuff. I'm happy that you find the flavor/vapor sufficient with the standard res atty-on the other hand, I'm excited to hear what you think once you try the LR.

Also, you may have already read one of the cartitridge "mods" that people often recommend, involving using a paperclip to remove the mouthpiece, then remove the white combobulator (obviously made up word for what is essentially a spacer), then replacing the mouthpiece. I tried it and I do not like it. I actually prefer the "harder" draw of the cartridges as I find it more cigarette-like.

Well I'm here to tell ya ...that It can be done !
I'm 13 months in have almost spent $600 (which was 2months cig costs) & have way more vaping supplies than I can use .
I also ALWAYS check the deals & steals thread B-4 buying anything & enter every contest I can & I DIY which saves a fortune on juice . I also check the PIF threads when I get bored with my current collection of flavors & just trade stuff instead of buying. So saving money is possible.

Ive only been vapeing for 2 months myself. i started with the Ego-t but had nothing but problems with tanks leaking dispite trying several fixes. ive moved to cartos and im on my 6th type now trying to figure out what i like best. so far the top runners are boge lr's and dual coil 1.5 ohms. im going to pick up one of the new vari volt ego batteries and see how that feels.
